Re: Conor Benns Future Path

He’s still not worthy of being anywhere near world level fighters. At domestic level he’s in the mix. If he stays at 160 does he beat Nathan Heaney ? Yeah probably but he loses the ringwalk again. Denzel ? Not imo no. I haven’t seen much of Liddard but I think he’d give him a good fight. At 154 I t...

The problem with sites/channels like SecondsOut. Is they event driven. And the big events are few and far between nowadays.

is the editor even a full time salaried position? I seem to recall Mark was doing it on top of his job or business. Best of luck to Mark. It's more than a full time job. Times it by 2 and you are getting warm. The days of 3 or 4 full time staff for a magazine the size of Boxing News are long gone. ...

Re: WBC Grand Prix of Boxing

I hope I’m wrong but I don’t really see this working. They have to get 32 fighters per weight division that the promoters are willing to risk who are younger than 26 and haven’t had many fights. Someone like FWarren brings his fighters up gradually. Would he let his best prospects be part of this? ...

......which promoter could they use? I will say, that I really appreciate the Top Rank cards on SKY. Especially watching Inoue live. Don't think they should go for a single promoter, offer the dates out and give the work out on quality Pick and choose, say they want boxing on such a date and ask pr...

Matt was a terrific editor in the way that he stood up for what he believed to be right, which I think is why he stepped down. Although he did have a terrible blind spot with the very average writers he brought on board. He was probably told that they need to be more friendly towards certain promot...

I don't think any ghost writer is going to put in the work for free or for some token sum - if you want the proceeds to go to charity, then you are going to have to write this yourself - you have two massive things going for you - you have a great story and the other is you know how to market a pro...
