Nick, You misunderstand my point. I know it's the top fight right now, you know, but the average Joe out there doesn't. These are the very people who with the correct marketing turn this fight from one for the purists to one that everybody on the f***in planet will want to see. Do the maths mate. Th...

That's not how it works mate.
Mayweather and Hatton need to sweep up the titles between them, then you've a mega unification fight on your hands.
It's not just about the pugilists, it's about the money makers.

Is Hatton now a free agent ?
That's the rumour I've picked up.
If so, he can do what he feels like.
Given the lack of clarity re Sky / ITV etc - wouldn't it make sense to doo his own thing ?
If Frank ends up with ITV, how is PPV gonna work ?

The first defence was always going to be in Manchester. This joker is perfect for that defence. Come on, guys, give Ricky a break. He deserves this fight, an easy night's work, and another title. Maybe the game plan was Harris, but this has just fallen sweetly into Frank's hands. By the way, on that...

My understanding is that Hatton will fight before the year end, in Manchester with a 2.00 am start.
He will then set sail over the pond in 2006.

Nelson will be fighting soon, but it won't be Maccarinelli.
The deal is agreed, it's a just a case of the opponent officially signing up to what has been agreed verbally.
An interesting domestic match up - but with a world title up for grabs.

Action Images have a great web site with a search facility.
They're not cheap - but you only get what you pay for.

Bennie,
Witter v Battaglia is much better than the shite SN have been swerving up recently.
I'd sooner pay ringside for this, than Hatton v Zippy or Bungle.

Showing my age I suppose because I've seen it all before. Take my close friend Ryan Rhodes as an example. Lonsdale belt in record time, but then stepped up to World Title level at just 21 by days. Too much, too quick, and it takes an age to get back. Warren will ruin this kid like many before him an...

Promotors pay boxers not TV Companies. If the fighter has a contract including purse sizes then this cutback hits the Promotor first of all. Inevitably the Promotor can cut down the exposure - but to what end ? He still needs to put on the fights to fulfil his obligations to the TV Company. If it's ...

Wayne sees Esham Pickering as a route back.
Big mistake.
This fight is perfectly timed for Esh, but sadly too late for Wayne.
Surely he's banked enough to consider his health.
I really rate Wayne, but I don't understand why he wants another shot.

Michael is the best Manchester prospect.
Warren should open his eyes and smell the coffee.
He should be highly profiled.

Alex,
Keep taking the drugs mate, and convince yourself that Ricky has a meaningful title, that Peter Kaye is a good Comedian, Man Utd are as good as Arsenal, Man City will still be a Premier Club in 4 weeks time, and that Phil Taylor is the only bloke who can throw a dart straight.

Bennie,
There were some good points for the Ingles.
Keeton's comeback was good, and Rhodes performance had all the hallmarks of the old sparkle being back.
Pity it wasn't shown on TV, and same with the Dixon fight.
I think you'd have been impressed.
