Anybody remember Sean Pruitt? He was a high school "Army brat" kid
in Germany in the late '70s that fought like a pro. He was good. He went
around beating most of the military fighters of the time. The last I saw
of him was at the 1981 USA/ABF Nationals in Concord, he was runner-up
at 147.

Agreed. He was a great amateur but may have gotten burnt out on boxing.

I worked with (sparred with) Mike McCallum back in November-December 1981. Nobody was "outsmarting" McCallum. He could set you up for shots you didn't know were coming, just by his movement in the ring. There's a reason why all of those guys ducked him. He weighed about 156 and I was about...
