Re: Nathan Cleverly made $100k vs. Badou Jack
I tweeted Hearn about this at the time and he said he got more money from uk tv money and US PPV too the US purses are rarely the full amount they get due to tax reasons and stuff I read somewhere afterwards in something local in the Welsh news he got close to $600k by the end of it I do not recall...

I like it when he sits backwards on his chair. Who the eff started that shite anyway? AJ? Max Kellerman does it on Face Off and seeing how Gloves Are Off is total rip off everyone has to do it there too. He is a knob but Floyd turned his chair round on one of them and sat on the chair like a ...

Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Where does that British mentality of binge drinking etc come from, out of interest? Genuinely curious why it seems so different to other cultures. The only thing I've seen similar is when Scandinavians come to Liverpool for the football and have a skinful because it's so much cheaper than at home f...

Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Conor was in court in Ireland today on a speeding offence. Theres a video on twitter of him leaving court. One of the journalists asks if he has been threatened or his life in danger and you hear Conor say "Come and get me". If Conor thinks he is king of Ireland and untouchable this whole ...

Yeah but they would rather not watch women fighting. Bit to much for them unless they are fighting in mud or jelly....right lads?.... FFS.... I think women's boxing has been so badly run and promoted in the past. The UFC may have got lucky with Rousey but they knew how to promote her and women prope...

Re: Reorganization Sky Sports channels
This is terrible if you like a few sports. I'd want the football which they have nicely spread across three channels. Cricket, boxing and NFL. Which is potentially another three channels. So this is probably going to be costing me more than what I pay now. Great. They've already said there is no pr...

Re: Conor McGregor Winning-Would It Be The Greatest Upset In The History of Sports?
There's a lot of people who think Conor McGregor has a chance... Skip Brainless, who appears all the time with Stephan A Smith, states emphatically that Conor McGregor is the world's greatest fighter and has underrated boxing skills... If that clown can be so stupid, so can many millions of others....

Re: Does Golovkin have any fans in South Korea?
Not really no. South Koreans tend to only get patriotic with sportsmen and women who are 100% South Korean in sports they like. Baseball players and soccer players rule the roost. For women Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kim Yuna is like royalty. Boxing ain't that popular its never really recov...

By the accounts I've heard he is an arrogant bellend to deal with unless your a boxer, MMA fighter or promoter. Alot of other journalists in boxing and MMA don't speak highly of him. He has done a ton of MMA TV work which really does not suit him either. Coming across smug and arrogant whilst mispro...

I know "humble" AJ and that but I don't think it was fake. He likes and respects Wlad too much. These Gloves Off shows don't always work. If there is no genuine animosty between the two it just comes across lame. Just some blokes sat at a table on chairs the wrong way round having a chit c...

Re: How much money should a pro boxer make enough to retire and how he should invest those money to live comfortably ?
It depends where they live, if they are supporting an extended family (parents, cousins etc), if they have ex wives and most importantly how they day to day spend. Some boxers try and live a Mayweather lifestyle without a Mayweather bank account. They should invest in low risk apartments/housing and...
