Re: Audley lands European title shot

He's shown that he will continue to fight with the most boring style in the division (bar haye vs Valuev). Paw paw paw paw paw etc, left hand (misses), paw paw paw etc. It's horrific to watch and I won't be watching it.

great stuff from boxrec. ben carey and spud tried for years to set up competing forums... esb, doghouse, boxingtalk... after being banned from each, spud came here. and now carey works for boxrec.

Re: Teddy Atlas on pac vs Mayweather... interesting...

Its bollocks, if anyone on Mayweather's team had recieved that sort of email they would have produced it by now, they would'nt be able to keep there mouth's shut about it. I very much doubt anyone on Pacquiao's team would be stupid enough to send that sort of request via email. More likely would be...

Longer version.. quite entertaining really and a great summary of it all.Plus interview with freddie roach last night and dan raphael.

It sounds very very fishy from the Pacquaio camp to be asking questions like that imo.

Re: What is the worst piece of match-making you have ever seen??

spud made a show of himself when karmazine destroyed walker with ease. we also had muppets on the forum saying lockett had a great chance to beat pavlik. needless to say they disappeared when lockett showed he was happy to take his knee and get out of the fight. recently some muppets thought jamie m...

Speculation on who will train Ricky Hatton - a "dark horse" is Richard Poxon - why do you ask - because he is already in the Hatton set up. any more in-the-know posts spud? please tell us all your information, we really await hearing it. you are so connected in the game and so highly resp...

Re: Cotto's father passes away

Him and his brother Evangelista fell out badly when Miguel changed trainer. Lets hope they can bury the hatchet now. Evangelista is his uncle. He fell out with his brother (cottos father). I wonder if he will regret all that now. thats what Gomez was saying. He said he hopes Miguel burys the hatche...

Re: Brook opponent for Feb 13th?

Look at beinas record... he is on a serious winning streak. Witter was very very good when he beat Bienas imo. is Brook that good? I don't know. he got hit a lot against Lomax. If beinas takes the fight beyond the sixth round how will Brook react? This is a seasoned european level campaigner.

very good boxer indeed. jav "too sleek" khaliq. He put in an excellent performance against Jan Bergman if I recall. He won a barnstormer of a fight against Takaloo early on in their careers. Stopped him I believe. It was a good story... taxi man who wins the belt. He was decent enough to m...

Will the fight actually happen?

With all this talk of drug tests and the like, I think this fight is in REAL danger. Obviously the next few weeks will be crucial. BUT, I think the March 13th date is looking unlikely.

Wayne McCullough vs Bernard Dunne

McCullough is pushing for this fight a lot, been in some of the national newspapers calling Dunne out recently. I would love to see that fight personally. I think McCullough might have one last big performance in him and could beat Dunne. Dunne would be a favourite though but we know about his chin....
