Re: Is David Haye guilty of match-fixing?
When wrestling becomes a valid part of the conversation people need to step back and look at themselves.

Re: Is David Haye guilty of match-fixing?
Anyone who has any problems with this fight is guilty of perpetuating these nonsensical fights in the first place. It's embarrassing.

Re: Tyson Fury ... Did we underestimate him ?
I didn't underestimate him – never did. Others may have allowed their personal dislike of a man, who relished portraying the role of a stereotypical pantomime villain, as well as possessing unathletic physique, to cloud their judgment and become blinded by the fact that he is not only one of the mo...

Predict the past ( Ike & Edwin).
How would Ike Ibeabuchi and Edwin Valero have done had their careers not been cut short. Could either of them achieved a H.O.F status if things were different? How would their careers have panned out in your eyes if they had both stayed out of trouble?

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner - January 19, 2019
Wasn't a small fuss kicked up regarding Duran beard v Hearns. It's true though that beards are meant to be a certain length. Holys beard is clearly very thin and Broners is clearly not. I imagine he will have it a lot shorter come fight night though.

Re: If Fury outboxes Wilder, how would you rate this performance ?
I almost started to remember Tyson as being clever and gifted until I rewatched the Wlad fight. It was realistically an atrocious performance by both. Tyson would surely have to perform much much better than he did that night to keep wilder off of him. Seriously what is the basis for the argument of...

Re: Should heavyweight boxing introduce height & reach divisions (minimum 6 foot 4 inches of height)?
I think the problem with height is more of a recent one. A common point made is that a lot of old heavies would be too short in this era so using them as an example isn't the whole story. I think the OPs post is valid but no! I do not want another division.

I'd be very interested to hear peoples opinions on him. Did he over/under achieve, was he a genuine threat at world level or a gate keeper. And how would a showdown with Hatton have played out?

Does anyone think that McGregors boxing training and ring experience with Mayweather will have a positive effect on his mma career should he return?

Re: Did Brook Disgrace Himself or Preserve Himself?
The ref didn't stop it or call for the doctor and his corner didn't stop. It all looked a bit fake to me. He gassed and looked for an excuse. He just didn't want to be in there anymore. Funny how a lot of pro boxers agree but the self proclaimed experts on this forum don't.

Look at Groves face ffs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXw3oYKKN3A Froch boxed how he always has, we all knew he wasn't going to outbox GG and instead look to wear him down, everyone needs to calm down, we were robbed of a definitive ending, that is all. what has groves face got to do with anythin...

Re: Froch - 'I don't have to give anybody a rematch'
End of the day, regardless of if the stoppage was premature, its foolish to call groves number 1 in britain , he lost the fight, and although it was premature he was getting stopped in another round or so, he had done fantastically well and went up in my estimations a long way last night, but he wa...

Re: Groves is better than Froch. That has now been established
Immediately before the ref grabbed Groves, Groves looked like he had had enough and was about to turn his back on Froch, premature stoppage yeah, it's annoyed me mainly because Froch had just turned it up, Groves was just starting to cower and we were just entering the inevitable stamina loss stage ...

Indeed the commentators were an absolute disgrace and seem to have convinced a lot of people to disregard what their eyes were seeing.

Re: holding - acceptable?
It seems to be more common with all of these unfit heavyweights on the scene. A lot of them simply can't box for three solid minutes. It needs to be penalized more frequently, it wouldn't take much to make it a thing of the past.
