Re: Ricky Hatton answers your questions on Youtube
I'm hoping to ask Ricky about his plans to match Crolla v Ricky Burns & how he expects to persuade Allegedly to agree. Be interesting to hear what he says & a miracle if they can stitch up a deal I'm afraid.

Ricky Hatton the trainer
Good luck to Ricky tonight in the corner with Adam Little. Hope he can give back some of what he's learned. Speaks modestly about what he might do, saying its all about Adam, but we all know that this is a big deal to get Ricky back on track, fit and in the gym again. http://hattonboxing.com/tv/rick...

Martin Murray v Felix Sturm
Good interview with Martin Murray on Hatton TV - can't wait for the Sturm fight & personally i think he's going to do him, unless Sturm steps it up from what he showed against Macklin. What does anyone else think ?

Re: Buckland v Stephen Foster Jr next?
I know Buckland's only just won hours ago but I just thought it this fight make sense, both are under the same promoter and it would be a great fight. It could even be an unofficial eliminator to face Fegatilli for the Euro title. Thoughts? Don't know about Foster junior but Ricky Hatton made me la...

Sykes v Buckland - who are you backing ?
Unless I've missed it, there's not much debate about Sykes-Buckland. Considering Buckland sparked him out in the Prizefighter I'm surprised there's not been more........ Sykes seems confident that he will be better over the longer distance. http://www.hattonboxing.com/tv/news/gary-sykes-plans-to-ave...

Re: Could Hennessy Sports be ressurected?
I think alot of small hall promoters should be looking at other networks to showcase their fighters. Hatton's smaller bills are on Eurosport, Hard knocks on Premier..... Premier sports especially seem very interested in more boxing, but promoters have to set realistic targets for a tv company that ...

Al Bernstein says Adamek has no chance against Vital
Just been watching Al Bernstein writing off Adamek's chances against Vitali completely. Says it is an "unwinnable fight" http://hattonboxing.com/tv/news/video-boxing-news-for-9th-september He's probably right but with 40,000 Poles in the stadium, Vitali can hardly let it go to a decision c...

Tait v Symonds live on You Tube !
Great chance for Chas Symonds. He's fighting Gavin Tait for the Southern Area Welterweight title on Sept 16 - should be a good scrap at the elephant & castle - and I've just seen that its going to be live on YouTube ! Just what these small hall shows need - can't wait. http://www.hattonboxing.co...

Re: Crolla v Limond October 15?
Is that right? Ant Crolla to fight just a month after his Vegas appearance? Thing that puzzles me most is putting it on the same night that Clev v Bellew is on in Liverpool, especially when Hatton promotions has Quigg v Booth show there on Oct 22nd, surely a double bill of the two would make more s...

Glad you enjoyed the show - it was a Hatton TV Production - we have had a big reaction already. Comments much appreciated. You are a long time retired as they say, so surely Ricky should be allowed to reflect on what he achieved ?

Re: Martin Murray v Nick Blackwell
Blackwell is a bit of a dark horse. Been reading about his unlicensed fights prior to going legit. He's more experienced than Murray probably realises. If you've got some money to spare (!) might be worth a punt, should imagine the odds will be generous

Re: Have Sky shot themselves in the foot ?
I think the thing you have to keep in perspective is how relatively unimportant boxing is to Sky compared to things like the Premiership. It's way too big a business to be too troubled by such prospects. I agree, but what Sky DO care about is the big PPV / Box Office shows. Thats where they make th...

Re: Have Sky shot themselves in the foot ?
Doubt it team khan will back on sky in the future! Money talks mate, lets not forget that. If Sky offer Khan mega money for his next fight, he would take it! :TU: But you are forgetting that Oscar is his promoter so he will have a big say in it - and judging from what he said in the press conferenc...

Re: Have Sky shot themselves in the foot ?
I know everyone has their own view on the Sky-Primetime PPV tug of war and we've no idea how many bought the fight, but it could be that Sky will regret this long term. From listening to what Oscar De La Hoya said in the press conference he seems about to form a partnership with Primetime and is of...

Re: Have Sky shot themselves in the foot ?
Aren't Primetime just a PPV channel? How well will American fight cards sell in Britain on PPV? Thats my point. If they get hold of all the Goldenboy back catalogue they can become more than just a ppv channel......a subscription boxing channel showing fights throughout the week ? Clearly Oscar has...

Re: Eddie Hearn: McCloskey will be tougher for Khan than Maidana
It seems 'Fast' Eddie Hearn is more interested in self-promotion than doing whats best for his fighter. On one hand he's saying that he wouldn't let Team Khan sell programmes on his show then he goes and agrees to a 12:30 weigh-in (WTF) which is 3.5 hrs earlier than the eariest time the WBA rules p...

Re: Is McCloskey awkward enough to hurt Khan?
Maidana's power is overrated imo, if McCloskey can take this into the second half of the fight I give him every chance. John Breen is a shrewd man, he will have a game plan to beat Khan, the question is can McCloskey implement it. Can't remember ever seeing a big outsider with the bookies looking &...

Anyone going to Wigan ? Shame its the second week running at Robin Park. Not sure whats going on there......anyway from looking at their records I think Vassell might have his work cut out, if Ushona is anything like his record (23-0).
