Best/worst boxing 'Promo' names for an event

Interested in what your best/worst boxing show header taglines or promo names have been over the years.

Recently I quite like 'Dance with the Devil' for Wood/Lara, and LewIS TysON (Is on highlighted on the poster).

Hated the Calzaghe/Hopkins tag which was something like 'Batlle for the planet earth'

Re: Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva | Showtime PPV - October 29, 2022

Think it's worth getting some money on Jake Paul? Kind of sense a fix/dive incoming. Especially with loads of yourubers coming out with videos listing reasons why Silva beats him

Re: Round-by-Round: Savannah Marshall vs. Claressa Shields | Sky Sports - 15 October 2022

Why can't Adam Smith simply commentate on the fight and call the action? He's waffled on about what was said at the weigh in, whether either fighter has been distracted, where the fighters trainers are based and what wars they've been in with and who. Why do that during the fight? It's rather distra...

Re: Eddie Hearn is a dangerous individual

This guy is like the modern day Don King that's done irreparable damage to the sport of boxing. The more I think about the shambles of this Eubank vs Benn fight, the more I realize just how much this guy puts his own wallet ahead of not only the integrity of the sport, but the health and safety of ...

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022

Why hasn’t he failed a UKAD test? Is it not on their banned list (like the Billy Joe one a few years back), or do they need to wait for the b-sample? Or in their testing did he not fail? Not all tests are taken on the same day, obviously. The skill to doping is not getting caught. Benn may have blo...

Re: Round-by-Round: Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia - March 16, 2019

It's just silly, a 150 pound adult men challenging a currently overweight 125 pound fighter and then people are acting like they are amazed that the 150 fighter wins. A 4 inch reach advantage, a 4 feet length advantage, in the prime of his life and then be proud of this? Anyone that knows the detai...

Re: Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia - March 16, 2018

Any news on who has UK tv rights? I'd assume ITV due to the pbc deal bit have heard rumours of BN picking this one up?

For the record I'm backing Spence to make Garcia retire on his stool in the 8th :box:

Re: Boxing @ the O2

Recently went to the o2 twice for Whyte/Parker and for cheeseman Garcia. Sat in lower tier for Whyte and on floor seats row B for Cheeseman. Have to say I much preferred the lower tier seats from a purists point of view you can see more of what's going on ring generalship etc. Either way you're gett...

How did Joyce, Ortiz and Wellborne get on?
Good, good and good. But Welborn kinda quit.
How did welborn quit? He emptied the tank and got caught with a peach of a body shot.... it's great to see someone have a go before they are bettered 😂😂

On another note what does everyone think of the atmosphere at these French shows? For me it's eerie, not at all like the traditional English small hall.

You could hear Diamantes fart in this place :D
