Re: Michael Hunter

I hate the way people say I slag boxers off. I'm just stating the truth. What I said was facts. He quit in both fights in his hometown. However, I wish him luck outside the ring and a happy life. We can't just gloss over his quitjobs though. That's what comes to mind when most think about him, wheth...

Jennings might not make it to the later rounds. The Cotto fight was a sparring session. He has also lost to young mutley. He will be on his bicycle quickly in this fight.

Re: Frankie Gavin

In fairness I'm just going off everything I have read from the chap. He does come across like a tosser in his posts and there is no doubt that curtis is winning the popularity contest. As for the bully mentality, well I think there will come a time when gavin finds himself in a real fight and has j...

Re: To those who think its the end of the world 4 Tony Jeffries

Do you think everything is over anylised nowadays? 1 bad performance doesn't mean the end for any boxer, but in the modern age , the boxer can't look at anything without his performance being picked clean by 'experts' and 'anoraks'. A few years ago he would of got a few newspaper reports and the wr...

Degale would easily beat Smith. Lets remember Smith was outpointed by Blundell and only got a split decision over Quigley. Dilks is out of his league with Degale and will be beaten down. No no no don't think I will mate :shame: :shame: best of luck mate. use comments such as mine to motivate yourse...

Should we want to see the big fights or fighters make money?

This is a topic I have been thinking about. Fighters are in the hurt game. They are putting their lives on the line. Look at the heavyweights from the 1970's and how they ended up, even when they seemingly retired with their health intact. They deteriorated in their later years and some died early. ...

Re: Barker - 'Macklin's not in my league'

Because Dave Parris is incompetent. I think it should have been ruled a No Contest, Barker's punch comes very quickly after the command to stop boxing and probably too quickly for him to have processed what Paris said, so a DQ would have been harsh. But for anyone to say the result that was given i...

"shush down" you "jester"! A. I've never said a word about Munroe. Who "hammers Murnoe"? What did they say? B. So if I am critical of a fighter its because he is British? Is that what you are saying because I am finding it hard to sift through your effluent. Are you sa...

barker got up and fired back with samuels in his face. in the heat of the moment you can't exactly make calculated decisions. it's natural to be critical of barker on here, but isn't it a coincidence that the other brit to get hammered on here is rendall munroe. it's bordering on the obsessive - an...

That's absolute BS and was always a very weak argument in the "against" defence. it may be a weak defence, but it was Hatton's defence, and he was sticking with it. It was a very weak defence and still is, but Hatton's hardly gonna tell the truth i.e. "I'm not gonna fight Witter, bec...
