Re: Queensberry embroiled in potential $1 billion legal dispute with Saudi Arabia's SELA, TKO's Zuffa Boxing

Zuffa means nothing here , if Connor Benn is the best they can do they will fail. Hopefully Frank has got all his contracts water tight Knowing Frank, he most likely has. You can't escape contracts with him Didn't calzaghe win a case against him and then FW bust the company so joe ended up with not...

Re: good fighters remembered for losses/failures

Billy Hardy went very close against Orlando Canizales first time round before wilting in the heat in a rematch. Had a good euro level career but remembered mainly for getting sparked by naz.

Re: Nick Ball vs. Brandon Figueroa | DAZN - 7 February 2026

I like Turner but boxrec having him rated 9 in the world with a record like that is ridiculous Jack Turner is an exciting fella to watch. Really heavy hands and a lovely jab when he uses it. Loves to be in a tear up though and seems to mark up easily and cut. Reminds me a lot of the late Eddy Valero...

Not at world level but Pat Barrett nearly decapitating Calamati who was 27-0 is worth a mention.

Brilliant fight that and great achievement from Dalton. Soaked up the pressure adapted when he had to. Wicked body shot set him up for highlight reel knock down.

Knew he had ability but not that much. That was levels above what he's previously had to show. Futures bright for him now.

Looks like he rents out the swimming pool in his house to the public. That's some career change.

It's free to air boxing. What's not to like?

BBC did a decent job of the Brandon Daord fight earlier this year and if I recall it was available from the front BBC sport webpage.

Felt premature watching it live but seeing the replays ive no issue. Whittakers behavior was pathetic and not for the first time.

Re: Boxing News - 'Where Are They Now?' indeed

Loved Pat Barrett, KO of Calamati was frightening. Avoided at LW then somehow got matched against Manning Galloway for the wbo at ww. Galloway was a complete spoiler and runner. Very limp performance from Barrett on his one big shot.

Really good fight that. Daord is a lovely boxer, bit more power and work rate and he'd be one to watch.

Going back a few years but always puzzled me who thought that Nigel Wenton would stand a chance vs sharmba Mitchell.

Gary Jacobs and Buddy Mcgirt is another strange one.
