Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard
The police aren't taking any action so imo the SIA should give him his licence back.
The SIA can be a bit tricky to deal with as we found out trying to get my son a licence. He had to jump through hoops to finally get it.

Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard
I've given my opinion what today's society in the UK is like. yeah, but as you're the bloke who sees a terrorist attack in London* and says he doesn't feel safe to walk the streets of fkin Donny any more, let's face it, calm & rational perspective isn't your thing, reacting in an alarmist manne...

Re: Boxing Forums - Popular?
Boxrec is the only forum I use. Never ventured anywhere else that has the forum tabled out like this site. I'm more of a casual these days as I couldn't tell you who is British champ at lightweight for example. I'm more old school when boxing was exciting and had a vast array of decent boxers. I don...

Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard
NFA. As stated and expected. I've been dealing with this stuff (and military law too) for over thirty years in a professional capacity and seen this thing happen hundreds of times. Of course lots of posters on here expected Julius to be in trouble because they know better.  and as if on ...

I'll be very surprised if a civil claim isn't in the works christ on a bike, you just won't be happy until there's some fvcking misery to drink from this story will you? fck me, first you're insisting in the teeth of loads of well-informed people saying otherwise that you're sure Francis was lega...

Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard
I'm surprised anybody thinks he might get done for that. It's as clear a case of reasonable force self defence as you are likely to see. Julius doesn't know the lad from Adam, all he knows is he's going nuts and approaching him hands raised, in that moment you react accordingly. If a fit, young, ag...

Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard
The cocky guy was toxic and needed a dose of reality. But the punch could have killed him as he went down pretty hard - it wouldn’t have been a surprise had it done so. It’s a difficult one. Julius took care of business and is much loved in the boxing fraternity. But looking at it objectively did h...

Hope Francis don't get into bother from the punch, as soon as the guy knows who clocked him there will be pound signs flashing in his head.

Presently in this day and age world class. Back in the 80s 90s British level. Tell me the British level heavies of the 80's who were the same class? Neville Meade? Hughroy Currie? If you are champion you have to fight number 1 ranked contender, no ifs or butts. Only 1 champion per weight. You have to defend your title every 16 weeks. If you are champion you have to defend in your own country No standing 8 count and can be knocked down as many times until either ref stops figh...
