Re: Scott Harrison
 I wasn't going to go there. I've got a mate who has met Harrison, he reckons he's one of the most intimidating men he's ever met if you take Frank Grant out of the equation. Ive met him a few times mate. Everytime I've met him he was really nice and down to earth. He has that 'don't fukk with...

Re: Scott Harrison
I understand that the Glasgow card was cancelled do not know why Poor ticket sales as far as I'm aware, not surprising since he has been a c*nt to a lot of the people who used to pay to watch him. Is he an unpopular figure in Glasgow? In his prime he was well supported but as has been well document...

Re: Ronnie Clark not on 9th of June Card
MTK are allegedly lol. Without them fish eyes is In the poo. Tyson, bus, Frampton are there marquee t.v. fighters. What so his management got him a fight with ward on 3 weeks notice and Barrett on 18 days. This has nothing to do with management this is to do with Ronnie changing his ways and trainin...

Re: Ronnie Clark not on 9th of June Card
I have to disagree with Jamie on the 'if he was with MTK' line, What good have MTK done for any of their fighters? I have seen nothing wrong with what Ronnies management team have done with him over the last year and a half. He has fought for the British title against Martin J Ward and even after st...

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark -My Views following your comments
Only my 2 pence worth for what its worth @markhdunlop It is great having managers, coaches and boxers posting on the forum so i appreciate you taking the time to do so but I think you are going too far with what the win really proves as to where Ronnie is at. Yes it was a great win for Ronnie and th...

Re: Ronnie Clark v Lorrenzo Parra
I was not going to comment on this topic but my names brought into it.. Mainman I have made it clear on numerous occasions that I believe it's not the fighters and sometimes not even the managers who refuse fights.. Managers are there to look after fighters and if they can have an easier fight then...

Re: Ronnie Clark v Lorrenzo Parra
Don't pass off any statements. I know how it works and your hearing statements second hand. The way the ward fight happened Ronnies manager had a feeling he was gonna get the fight but nothing was confirmed and they just planned for it hoping they got it. Remember Ronnie fought in Aberdeen two week...

Re: Ronnie Clark v Lorrenzo Parra
Exactly mate, all I know is he said yes and someone said no. Boxers should just fight I think that is misleading JamieM and kind of contradicts your previous post where you say it was looking like the same as the Martin J Ward fight i.e. short notice. What I have heard (for all its worth) is that i...

Re: MTK fighters banned from fighting in Ireland
Is it ethically right to be involved with convicted crinimals? I don't think that Daniel Kinihan has actually been convicted of anything but that dent mean he isn't at the heart of it though lol I hope that there is nothing untoward with MTK promotions as they certainly putting on lots of shows in ...

Re: MTK fighters banned from fighting in Ireland
Here's my counter to your response, did you think Ricky burns fighting Alex Arthur when he did was a 50/50 fight? No is the answer but I will tell you this it was one of Ricky biggest learning fights in his career, same has david losing to George, do remember when these chance are offered the fight...

Re: Brian Forsyth v Rhys Pagan 11/03/2017
Forsyth should have a re-think about retiring. He's a fluent boxer with good reflexes and knows his way around a boxing ring. I'm certain he could make middleweight with no difficulty, possibly even lower. There's money to be made by him as a boxer. Of course Brophy would be too strong at the momen...

Re: Ronnie Clark v Lorrenzo Parra
There were murmurs of Ronnie getting the fight mate but Think it was gonna be the same as the ward fight with little notice. Would have been ideal to get that fight as think Barrett has a real chance. Just don't rate cradle that much and think he's a bad version of Martin j ward. Martin J Ward is s...

Re: MTK fighters banned from fighting in Ireland
From my point of view MTK have given my fighters opportunities, Simmons in Germany (robbed), Brophy against Grooves, granted he lost but he learnt so much from that loss and Brophys currently in Oz to box for the Commonwealth Title There's a lot of jealousy in our sport and it's the jealous ones wh...

Re: Brian Forsyth v Rhys Pagan 11/03/2017
This is a decent fight and I think you've read it wrong, Pagan is fighting at a career heaviest that's the concern,he turned pro has a welter, Brian on the other hand although a strong lad isn't a puncher. I think if Pagan boxes the correct fight he wins and by a wide margin I'm sorry Billy but I r...

Re: Brian Forsyth v Rhys Pagan 11/03/2017
Scottish Super Middle Belt. As seems to be usual for a Scottish belt, it's not a great fight. Hopefully Sam and MTK Scotland can start putting on big title fights, unfortunately this show is just another cheer leading exercise for his ticket sellers. While I like Sam and what he's doing, it has com...

Re: Harley Benn opponent named
This actually pisses me right off. 3 fight novice from Bulgaria Svetoslav Dimitrov http://boxrec.com/boxer/722148 While the opponent is ok for Harley I just dont agree with bringing over a Bulgarian when there are opponents in the UK that are keeping the BBBoC in money. There are 115 British middle...

Re: Warren Responds To Harrison
i know Frank gets a lot of stick (mostly deserved) I have to say that what he is saying seems pretty legit in regards to Audley Harrison who wasted one of the best opportunities a boxer has had by having a contract to terrestrial TV from the beginning of his career and he couldn't back up his own cl...

I personally think that Robin Deakin shouldn't be boxing, spoke with him at a show in Scotland and the guy sounded pretty punch drunk to me. At the end of the day if he has passed his medicals then who am I to say any different I suppose

2 shows, 12 fights and absolutely no interest in any of them :TU: When an promoters going to realise that putting on a show with not even one 50/50 fight will kill the sport? I was offered freebies to both and graciously turned them down. Got better things to do on a Sunday like Xmas shopping  ...
