Can see the rematch to be all foreign officials. Take the pressure off the British judges. Or maybe British ref and judges all neutral.

Re: Dubois - Fixed fight

The 3 knockdown rule is NEVER in effect in a British ring. In terms of stopping a contest, the referee has the sole responsibility of judging if the boxer is fit or safe to continue. The time left in a round is both unknown and irrelevant to the referee as generally “fit or safe to continue” often ...

Re: Does Rob Smith need to resign from BBBC?

I remember Rob Smith being aloof and indifferent to complaints about his operation in the 1990s! How does a man keep a job like this for so long? Who made him the boss of British boxing? Who do you remonstrate with if you have a problem with Rob Smith? Rob Smith? Rob Smith wasn't in charge during t...

Going by the scorecards if you went to majority scoring they actually had it a draw at 113-113

They get 12 scorecards and hand one to the ref end of each round. The video clearly shows it is his cards

Re: Terry O'Connor

I've posted on another thread already, but anyway....my understanding is scorecards are collected at the end of each round, so if I'm correct, it can't be a scorecard. It looks like a phone in my opinion. And yes, unless the format has changed in the last few years, scorecards are collected at the ...

Gomez looked shocking I thought was glad the ref handed James the decision. Tommy Frank looked good in stopping Wilton.

NDam pissed that fight
x2 I thought mark lyson was way out with that score. Even the knock down round Murray would have only scored a 10/9 having lost the round up until a flash knock down on the bell

Re: Round-By-Round - Gervonta Davis (c) vs. Liam Walsh - May 20th 2017

No I haven't seen that video, but that is grim if it's true. Floyd isn't too popular but he is one of the greats, and it's an embarrassment to have him treated like that in this country. When Davis jumped on the ropes at the end, I thought I saw some object fly past his head, but the commentators d...

Re: Round-By-Round - Ricky Burns (WBA) vs. Julius Indongo (IBF/IBO) - April 15th 2017

So Burns was the defending WBA champion. Puerto Rican organisation. The Puerto Rican judge is responsible for the most unrealistic card. Why we all love boxing organisations......... :brick: He got it right isn't that all that matters Not in to conspiracy theories. More incompetence I would say.
