He's just getting back from shoulder surgery, he'll have a walk-out in 9,10 weeks then he's looking at a big fight later in the year.

Where do people stand with tickets?... can they get refunds?.... its very iffy that the fights been called off only now, am I the only one who thinks that the fight was never going to go ahead and that this has all been done to stop people refunding their tickets earlier???... very poor show!... no...

He will if he can stay away from Corley's thunderous fists. Not for nothing is the man from Washington known as 'Chop Chop', having sent 17 of his 36 opponents back to the dressing room before schedule. It says as much in a lot of articles about this fight; I can remember Americans on another board...

If Ezra Sellers can wobble and floor Nelson..... If you've seen Sellers V Thompson then you wouldn't of made that comment. But for my money, Enzo beats Nelson. Apparently, at Froch's first attempt to make the weight, after stripping all the way down to his Y-Fronts, he was 1lb over. Romour has it that two of his henchmen took him by the hands, helped him down of the scales and walked him to the nearest bathroom. Exactly 3 minutes later Froch reapeared, wa...

Not sure Khan has any potential at welter in the coming years. Granted he's growing but he's not growing that fast and although his speed will be impressive his power will be much less so - meaning welters will respect him much less.

The gist from Maxboxing is that the effort to keep him on-side was rising disproportionately to a decreasing return. That's obviously a very potted version, but confidences are confidences.

No, and again not to defnd the call in any way, but the US don't have the names at the moment - everyone with a big name is on the wane and the new batch aren't exactly making bank managers cream their pants. They need to make guys like Lacy big - sink or swim for the lad, this would be. I can defin...

A friend of mine who should know was 100% cetain yesterday that Lacy will be in the other corner in July.

US TV think it's still a winner.

More interested in Skelton - Williams and Lockett - Rhodes to be honest. Not expecting JC to be in with a killer.

Problem with footie stadiums is that they generally need an opponent like a big name American to be filled. Which means US networks bankrolling things. Which means 2am start and match-day noise from an open-air stadium in the middle of the night. It's just not going to happen. Notwithstanding Cardif...

Don King wants this to happen. That should be a red flag right there. Probably a miniature flag being waved camply by a 6 foot guy with 9 foot hair, but a flag nonetheless. Hatton should forget welter. The only names there have either been picked off by PBF already, or are matches against big, big b...

Hamed has been moved to a Cat D open prison after 1 DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is unheard of.... wanker he should at LEAST have spent 2 weeks MINIMUM waiting to be assessed. As for Hatton, he has sliped in regards his boxing technique and i'm not so sure that those 15 round body bag sessions are really of much benefit - I reckon it is teaching him too many bad habits. Was thinking the same thing. So good point. Excellent fitness but maybe more fight-specific training m...

I'd say this is conicidence. Although Warren certainly wouldn't have put Hatton in with Collazo. Far from safe enough. You can argue either way whether this is good or bad. I'd say Hatton's better for having made the fight than had he tanked Souleyman M'Baye. Also, Audley was never (I think) with Wa...

Castillo was stopped in the second by Cesar Soto... One stoppage loss a few years ago doesn't make you the village idiot. Collazo, fair play to him, had the style and the size to give Hatton everything he wanted and more. But I absolutely agree with the central issue in this thread, that Hatton foug...
