Re: Does allegedly deserve all the stick he gets?

Yes, he's a cancer on British boxing.

A sad, pathetic bender, prepared to sue people over absolutely nothing.

Re: Haye: the defining fight for Vitali?

Vitali's defining fight has always been, and will always be, the defeat against Lewis. Beating a gobshite like Haye (or losing to him at an advanced age) won't affect his historical standing one jot. I really wish Haye would have enjoyed it so much in Australia that he'd decided to stay there. Hate ...

Re: curtis woodhouse V shayne singleton

I find it hard to believe that everyone has been ducking Tyrone Nurse. Everyone. I mean.... he's looked good when I've seen him but he's not a murderous puncher, you'd not worry so much about your lad getting hurt, would you? Seems to me like his management are just useless in all honesty, and want ...

Re: Froch-Kessler OFF? Stevenson to take place

Anyway, don't Kessler "owe" Froch a fight in England? Kessler had no title before their first fight and he secured home advantage. Kessler doesn't owe him anything. He's the draw, I would keep the belt if I was Froch Kessler's is a paper title, Ward is the WBA champion. Keesler is still a...

They're all the same, Allegedly is the worst.

I tweeted him about a year ago asking for a better opponent than Karpency for Clev.... two minutes later I was blocked.

Re: curtis woodhouse V shayne singleton

Nurse is a talented kid, but his management have been brutal. I could have beaten some of what he's faced so far. When he beat Baz Carey on a Maloney show a while back (probably four years ago now) I thought he'd do really well, but isn't any further ahead. Instead he took several steps down in clas...

Re: Price V Thompson

Price's opposition thus far has been very disappointing, there's no two ways about it. Even assuming he beats Thompson, Mismatch will surely get him an easy knockover job to ensure a Lonsdale for keeps... meaning it's likely to be the back end of the summer before he fights someone else with arms. F...

Re: 2013- Who should step up...and who should step down

I think Bellew was entitled to have a grievance with Allegedly. Despite giving (rather than getting, let's be honest) him a world title fight, one that many people thought he won, he was completely sidelined, with little obvious effort to get him back in the mix. It was a case of ''you got what you ...

Froch trains to improve rather than to make the weight.

No co-incidence that he's one of the few fighters that has improved as he's gone well past 30.

Price needs to sack Mismatch and get a proper promoter.

I can see Thompson getting injured and Towers being the opponent.

Re: Paul Smith v Kenny Anderson not happening

Stephen could have a good career if he improved his current ring IQ of 0.

Plus, he's the worst inside fighter I've ever seen. Brutal stuff, against both Simpson and Selby.

Re: Froch and Marquez head list of BoxRec News Awards for 2012

I think Marquez and Donaire are difficult to split.

Marquez only beat one top opponent, but of Donaire's opposition I'd only really say Nishioka was genuinely top class. Arce had long since past his best and was above his best weight... and Vazquez jr was only just off a KO loss to Arce.

Yeah, you keep the European.

It's a shame that fighters will vacate either for one of those ''intercontinental'' baubles.

Wouldn't wipe my arse on one of those, they're meaningless.

Just looking at his Twitter now. 44048 tweets - jesus... Up at 2am this morning asking people to talk to him.... since yesterday he's tweeted 80 times, mainly asking people to add him on Facebook, then bragging that he's had a clearout and that he doesn't give a f**k if anyone doesn't like it.

Re: Robin Deakin

He's a first class knobhead, can't stand him at all. Perhaps if he'd spent more time in the gym than on twitter he might have won more than one fight. Every time I saw him box he got badly bashed up. On one occasion, he was one step away from threatening to kill an ESB poster after they tweeted that...

Re: Longest winless streak.

I don't think it's defamatory at all, it's factual. I think pretty much everyone has been at a show and see a journeyman that's so clearly superior to the house fighter, but doesn't seem to force the action at all, instead backing off and letting the house fighter take the rounds on the grounds of ...

Re: Carl Froch vs George Groves: A good possible match up

I like Groves, fun to watch, but his weaknesses, primarily his defence and apparent punch resistance, don't match up well with Froch. He can be tagged regularly with jabs and right hands - he doesn't have the reflexes like Haye, nor a clear speed advantage, again like Haye, to be able to pull that s...

Garcia would get him again.

Khan isn't disciplined enough, nor skilled enough, to outbox Garcia - on the outside, all night... to a decision over 12.

Re: Could BOXREC be the answer to ending governing body nonsense

I think it's a good idea. The problem is though, marginalising the alphabets only benefits the fans, and the GENUINE champions within the sport, of which there are only a couple. Fringe fighters make big money, promoters and TV firms can use the billing to sell their productions to the masses better.
