this year in the heavier weight classes it will be very competative. the talent for 165 to 201lbs the top four to five guys in those weight could be number 1 at any time. the weights that I THINK will be very exciting at will be 178lbs & 201lbs . i think those guys are very strong and and pretty...

Re: Who is pound 4 pound best in amateur boxing & why
the question was not who is the best at there weight,or who has won more titles so that has everything to do with having the ability to move up or down and have the same success. pound for pound. same talent higher or lower weight. i didn't say he should move up the question or thought would be how ...

Re: Who is pound 4 pound best in amateur boxing & why
it is not about titles he won. i spoke to Errol Spence and he said the same thing, but when i asked could he go up 2 or 3 weight classes. could he beat R.Warren then he changed his awnser .could he get in the ring with a 114,or 123lbs fighter and do well . that is pound for pound. he is the best 108...

Who is pound 4 pound best in amateur boxing & why
It is just a question I have . I just want to see what everyone thinks. When you give your awnser you have to state why. Meaning if you put them in any of 3 weight classes they can go up or down . With the same skills ,the same size. how would they do? with the fighter in this 2012 Olympic group.

Re: LOUIE BYRD MAY TURN PRO SOONER RATHER THEN LATER
i really don't think there will be such a problem . I don't think these fighters have that great a chance of winning. The fighters on the US teams are not the best that the U.S. have to offer. If you haven't noticed all of the fighters from other countries are their best . all are national champs or...

young boxer should stay amateur to develope there skills .
I don't believe the young amateur boxer should not turn pro until they have develope there skills. I have been to several national championship tournaments and i have seen young boxers many them don't have the basic boxing fundamentals. We should make these guys stay amateur so they can better there...

Re: Bad coaches
one of the things you have to understand is that so many coaches today have never boxed before . so what that means is that they don't and can't understand what a fighter goes through in the ring. that is one of the problems with boxing today . the boxer who faught in the past never came back to hel...

We have a new heavy weight KING in the USA amateur boxing
There is a new joy that i have for amateur boxing in the USA and his name is Steve Gaffraurd. It was great to see the way he boxed in the US championships. it has been a long time sense i have seen a heavy weight be so dominant. he has a great jab, good defense, and an even bigger heart. i do believ...

Re: USA boxers compete in Great Britain vs Rest of the World
I believe that it is an honor to be selected to box on this level. Our fighters job is to get in the best shape the can possible get in. If the didn't bring there best that is not our fault. Errol Spence beat who they put in front of him.
