Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
Prescott's power is GREATLY overrated. Only two of his last seven fights have ended in a knockout, and one of those wins was against a bum. I don't know about that, Prescott has plenty of power when he swings for the fences and lands! I think his recent loses are because he has gone from an unknown...

Re: the future of tyson fury?
I have watched most of Tysons pro fights, including his latest against Power. I agree with other comments that he does not look like he is improving. He needs to get himself a 'proper' trainer and a strength and conditioning coach. He will be lucky to rise above English level in the shape he is in n...

Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
What you basically mean is it depends on how well the ref gets on with the prospects promoter! Yeah, because all boxing is fixed and none of it is worth watching ;;-) How about a bit of positivity for the sport..... Im just being honest!Lets be real here,if that was prescott that got knocked...

Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
How did khan have a chance of pulling the fight out against prescott after the first knockdown then when his legs were like bambi on ice?! The answer is a very slim chance! My point is Khan had at least shown in previous fights the kind of power that can turn a fight on its head, Limmond does not h...

Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
Have to agree with you there mate. If Limond would have been in the trouble that Khan was in, the ref would have stopped it. No doubt. We see it time and time again. When the prospect wobbles the other guy, the other guy get`s stopped. If Khan wasn`t a top prospect, he`d have been stopped after the...

Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
Didn't Khan get knocked down and should of been stopped by Limmond, not exactly a power puncher. Wasn't that the all time slowest 8 count just in order to protect an unbeaten prospect.... Have to agree with you there mate. If Limond would have been in the trouble that Khan was in, the ref would hav...

Re: Khan- Maidana - 11/12/10 its on?!
I think Khan will beat him, i dont think Maindana will get close enough to win the fight. Freddie Roach will make sure khan is in and out before Maindana can get near him. All credit to him taking the fight though, it will once and for all silence the critics who say he is avoiding big hitters. I m...

Re: Questions for David Haye
I'll answer as succinctly as possible. 1) Money 2) Money 3) Money Yep, I appreciate and understand those reasons! It would be nice to hear those honest words from the horses mouth though wouldnt it? I just hope that for the sake of what Haye seams to think is a quick and easy buck.....and I ...

Questions for David Haye
I will admit I have not read every post or news story regarding the Haye/Harrison match up, so forgive me if these questions have already been answered! 1) Why is it that a heavyweight top ten opponent could not be found instead of Audly Harrison? Surely after so many months of media silence there w...

Re: Haye v Harrison Nov 13th It's ON
Haye seems genuinly embarressed to be fighting Harrison. I don't like to think that'll I'll be buying this one but... I don't know if I'll be able to resist come the night Thats the big danger for Haye in my mind. He could come into the fight thinking Harrison shouldnt be in the same ring as him, s...

Re: SIMPSON VS SMITH afterthoughts?
It certainly wasnt a robbery although I think a draw would have been a fair result. Congrats to Swifty, he did very well and I can understand why he clinched so much now he has explained his damaged hand. The lad did well so early in his pro career. I do feel for Simpson though, I think he deserved ...

Re: Has Harrison got Haye's number?
Hi all, we all know what should happen.....Haye should win easy, early and by KO or TKO. The thing that worries me is this will be Harrison's only shot at a world title and he will know it. Lose this one and that's it, a final nail in a disappointing and under achieving career. Now after saying that...
