Re: Sky , eddie Hearn
The problem with a lot of boxing fans is they don't understand the logistics behind putting a show on, as well as the expectations boxers who are 3-0 with limited ability have, they want everything done for them when the promoter has little to gain in the long run. People can go on about matching fi...

No plans to do so at present. Although you could purchase a connector from your computer to the television and you can watch it on your television screen?

Re: Poorly attended shows?
Some ideas and viewpoints are way off the mark here, great topic from jeff btw, a very intelligent bright man. First of all boxers have to sell tickets simply because small hall promoters struggle to find the revenue to pay marketing companies or advertising in national newspapers etc. suggesting bo...

Think if they get stopped that early you get people saying he needed more of a chance. Its a double edged sword which divides opinion, think the referees did a good job yesterday though. No complaints from any boxers, managers or trainers. That show was better than most of the trollop we see on Alle...

Re: Dean Powell - Bellew vs McIntosh.....Arrogance???
get both sides of the argument here. I enjoy Jane's style of interview, but that interview didn't really feel like an interview just telling him he's gunna get ktfo. I love all interviews both Jane and Ifilm do for boxing there keeping the small hall scene fresh as well as the big promoters shows. T...

Been speaking to Ali ans he is very confident of a win. Not only that he truly believes he'll knock him out. Can't believe how well this is being received by the majority of boxing fans.

interesting views on Audley, does still seem to be a name that people want to know about. The national press and Sky Sports running the story shows that.

Toks Owoh would perhaps be a fight Mcphilbin could win? Toks is way past his best now though which underlines the weakness of this division IMO, if we are talking about Miles etc. challenging for the British Title!!

Yes 2012 not 2011 haha.stujones wrote:Steve, I am sure you mean 14th April, 2012? not 2011.
Anyway, I hope the BBBoC would be sensible and not sanction a 40+ fighter who hasn't fought in a year, hasn't won in two years straight into a British title fight.... needs a tuneup first surely.

I've seen Ochieng a couple of times and been really impressed. He's accuracy was second to none and he picked his punches perfectly. I can see him doing big things in the years to come.
He'll take this on points for me.

Big respect to Mcphilbin but he does look very limited. I hope he enjoys his special moment, but could be in trouble if in the ring with somebody on Conquest's level.
No disrespect to Mcphilbin at all though. Well done lad! Great post-fight interview as well proper TV gold!

Re: Audley V Fury Petition!!
From reading his twitter, looks like he may be making a comeback. Won't be against Fury tho I dont think.
Audley is awful and doesn't want to get hit. Fury would smash Fraudley to pieces IMO.
