Re: Betting thread

Tommy Fury is 3/10 (draw no bet) at 365 and SKY..... just saying. You won't find a more generous bet than this.

Re: What If? The Battle of the Hitman: Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns vs. Jeff "Hitman" Harding

12 (or 15) Rounds Light Heavyweight Bout In the battle of the Hitman, the Hearns who fought Dennis Andries and Virgil Hill would outbox Harding behind his longer reach by 5 inches with his great left jabs and landing right hands and combinations to either take a decision or stopping him late. What If...... Gerry Cooney Had Gone The WBA Route

So instead of fighting Larry Holmes in June '82, he fights Mike Weaver.

How would he do against Weaver?

Would he have a couple of easy defences?

Would he beat Gerrie Coetzee, Dokes and Page?

Re: 1988 Mike Tyson vs 2011 Wladimir Klitschko - who would win this match ?

No he would not have been a cruiserweight. He normally weighed well over 200 pounds. Beat a ton of guys that were well over 200 pounds and unlike Klitschko's opponents, had some had a lot of ability. Cruiserweights enter the ring well over 200 pounds after early weigh ins. Some are 220 plus....

Re: 1988 Mike Tyson vs 2011 Wladimir Klitschko - who would win this match ?

Tyson's best wins were Spinks and Holmes. Wlad has nothing resembling wins that good. He also never lost to somebody as sh*tty as Danny Williams or Kevin McBride even when he was older than Mike was when he couldn't beat those guys. In fact at the same age when Mike was too old and past it to beat ...

Agree with that Tyson beat Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Tubbs, Spinks, Bruno 2x, Williams, and Ruddock 2x. Klitschko beat Chris Byrd. Mike Tyson would probably be a cruiserweight in Wlad's era. How do you see him doing there? Usyk would have been a cruiserweight in Wlad's era.... oh wait.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua | NETFLIX - Winter 2026 *new thread*

I always thought Joshua would blow him out in 2-3 rounds but Joshua is hard to assess mentally now. I agree with that. He still talks about getting nervous on ring walks. I'd have him go to Paul McKenna or whoever the modern equivalent is. do a Steve Collins Nigel Benn saw Paul before the McClellan...

Yuta Sakai - The Next Japanese Superstar?

IBA Youth Champion and some excellent wins in the amateurs.
Big punching southpaw.
Seven wins with six stoppages as a pro, with some decent wins.
Still only 21 years old.
Fights on Wednesday against a very experienced campaigner.

Rozicki is going to dominate him for the stoppage. Just curious, what makes you think that? I've only ever watched Rozicki get beat by Rivas. On paper it doesn't look like he's done anything remotely impressive. I always underrate CBS, I don't know why Josh, I just can't help myself. I was proved w...

- Yup, you can't see what you don't understand. Wlad bounced Povetkin around the ring like a handball. Once more, he did it in Moscow in front of Putin who is a fight fan. Joe Louis never had to go to Berlin to beat Schmeling. Wlad is the only Hvy who ever approached the record of Joe Louis and he ...
