Re: Should Amir Khan retire?

I think Khan should have a think about retiring. With the amount of heavy shots he's taken at only 25 I think his long term health is starting to become an issue.

Poor from Froch - no need to stick the boot in.

Re: Kell brook changing Trainers and camp whispers from gym..??

Great stuff from Eddie. Maybe it's because the interview was away from the bright lights that he was less salesman and more down to earth. He sounds like a good promotor to have. It sounds like he's putting the blame on Kells shoulders "he didn't prepare as well as he should have" but mayb...

Re: I wonder if Adam Booth

wow you don't know what you're talking about, Haye stood his ground and took on Chisora and his whole crew by himself and was clearly just defending himself. throwing the first punch (with a bottle in your hand) is simply defending yourself? Let's be honest DC is walking towards DH and as he is app...

Re: haye vs chisora brawl vdieo HERE

The sooner both these clowns retire the better. Embarrassment to boxing and Britain. The Germans really must wonder what is going on - two guys who won about 5 rounds between them against the Klitschko's glassing each other etc in a post fight conference. Deary me. And Booth shouting 'you're a bitch...

Darke is an absolute legend. Sky should pay him whatever it takes to have him back full time for football and boxing.

Re: gerald vs nigel ben

it was in a national paper a few days after the fight in 1995 Must be true then. I'm sure they spent hours with the surgeons discussing the facts of his condition before printing the story. I hate it when people just make things up about others injuries. None of us know exactly how the clot was for...

Re: The Fight Of Their Lives: ITV1 10:35pm 05/12/2011

The real sad thing for me was that there was almost an endless list of things that went wrong for McLellan before, during and after the fight. Incompetent trainer, no tactics, struggling badly to make weight, Benn being given a generous count in 1st round, 5 doctors ringside failing to spot distress...

Re: Allegedly channel is brilliant

I won't be subscribing. £10 a month for a single channel that isn't HD and isn't on 24/7 is an awful lot of money these days. Out of the 3 presenters last night, I can't stand Keys /9thought we'd got him off the telly when he left Sky) and Bunce just talks over everyone. Woodhall is good though. Not...

Re: Hopkins v Haye?

Silly topic and Hopkins could be seriously hurt. he has absolutely no physical attributes to compete with Haye and hasnt ko'd anyone above middle weight. It would be a 1 round farce, haye would show him no respect in the ring and brutaly ko hopkins. This is complete nonsense. elaborate? Hopkins las...

Re: Are sky going to cut back on boxing after July 2012

F1 bores me to tears, absolute tears. Faceless blokes driving fast cars round a track, whoever has the best car that year usually wins. Crap. Exactly, its nonsense, anyone of those drivers could win the title if they were sat in the best car. Sh*t sport, it has no appeal to me whatsoever! No appeal...

Re: Fury I'm afraid....

i struggle to watch heavyweight boxing, especially at british level. The conditioning is poor, speed is poor and to be honest i think that fight last night was a poor spectacle for the average neutral . I don't think fights like that on free TV will be encouraging a surge of new fans into the sport...

Re: Thank you Channel 5

Take note Jim Watt Watt would have described that as embarrassing for a british title fight - and he'd be right. It may have been exciting in parts to watch but it was a guy with zero technique vs a guy who was so unfit and uninterested it was dreadful. As for C5 overall it was a good effort but at...

Re: Fury - Chisora RBR

We have Haye and Price. Price is our only hope then.. Fury won easilly enough. But what a poor exhibition of a British champion. Fury will improve - Lewis vs Occasio and Murphy.....ring any bells. Fury almost needs completely rebuilt imo. Doesn't throw any of his punches correctly and because of th...

Re: Fury I'm afraid....

I havent seen much of him but not impressed at all. None of his punches are thrown correctly and he seems to want to tap his opponent on the face rather than punching them - as if he's playing a game of tag.

He's going nowhere I'm afraid.

Re: Fury - Chisora RBR

That fight was pathetic. Is this what British Title fights have come to? A guy turns up so out of shape he's gasping for air from the end of the first round? Yes it was entertaining but I've seen pub fights that were entertaining - doesn't mean there was any skill involved in them. Fury wins easily ...
