Trinidad would probably have tasted canvas like usual but would have fought his way to a decision victory by pounding Basilios ass.

NO contest here! Tyson was a tremendously overrated fighter but if Foreman and Cooney could do it than Tyson would knock him out also.

Re: Carmen Basilio & Felix Trinidad at Welter...

I see Trinidad winning this fight by TKO. Basilio will have his moments but I don't think he has the necessary footwork to defeat Tito at welter. I think Trinidad accurate and powerful left hook will be too much for Basilio. I give Billy Graham a better chance to defeat Trinidad than I do to Basili...

Tarver wasn't the same because he gained 40 lbs for the role. Morrison wasn't the same because he fought Mercer.

Re: The Leonard vs Hagler Fight

Leonard was given the decision & that is set in stone! I'm not going to argue over who I thought did or didn't win because in all honesty, its academic now! However, I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on a couple of things: 1. That Leonard would NOT agree to a 15 round fight...

Re: !!!FANTASY FIGHTS!!!

Ali vs Tyson to me sounds good but in reality i think its to easy of a win for Ali. Calzaghe vs Hagler sounds interesting and would be a good fight since Joe is a natural Super Middleweight. But i still think Hagler is to tough for Joe and stops him. Leonard vs Floyd i would say would b a very close...

Re: Did Terry Norris DUCKED Felix "Tito" Trinidad?

In the year 1996, Don King Promotions had planned a mega fight of "Terrible" Terry Norris against IBF World Welterweight Champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad for Norris WBC World Super Welterweight crown. Did he avoided Tito? It looked that he did to me. What are your thoughts of this...

lewis toys with him for a couple of rounds, with jabs bouncing of joes face, then a crushing right hit joe right on the chin and joe is out cold :D Yeah. A prime Louis is not a patch on a washed-up Holyfield or overweight Mercer, both of whom arguably decisioned Lewis in his prime. Much better than S...

Re: Floyd Mayweather Versus

Mayweather had better defense than Hearns and isn't a fighter who engaged in brawls and Hearns on the other hand was a lot easier to find with hard shots because he engaged in slug fests. Hagler and Leonard would have to stalk Mayweather for several rounds and still might not even land a significant...

And respect towards a fighter doesn't amount to anything. I respect Vargas for taking ass whippings from multiple fighters and never giving up and the same with Mayorga but that doesn't make them great fighters.
