I thought Mukmudov was fighting Smakici? Is the Bekole/Takam fight still on?

I’m thinking whether to watch it for the undercard, but the whole card is a mess.

Re: Fury v Ngannou Undercard not on BoxRec?

Forget the main event - I’m not even sure it’s a legitimate boxing match… Why isn’t the pretty descent HW undercard not listed on BoxRec? E.g. Makhmudov, Parker. Any ideas? the fix is in on all of em'. all of those fights are fixed from top to bottom. fixy fix fixed!!! no doubt about it. 100% fixed...

Zhoukou, Northern China. You heard it here first, he will (if it’s made which is unlikely) put Fury to sleep.

I guarantee he fight Uysk. Fury will duck him.

It’s a shame, it was the best fight on a really crap undercard. I’m still not sure why the US charge $80 for a PPV fight. I thought it was bad in the UK.

Hovhannisyan v Faust (Vykhyrst) off?

They were meant to fight on Crawford/Spence card but not listed anymore? Anyone know why?

That was a classic. Yes, it was rough but some great action.

Fury v Wlad and Lewis v Akinwande plus any Oklie fight was ugly.

Re: Zhang v Joyce 2

I think Joyce will get done again. His problem is Zhang took his jab away extremely easily, and countered him with a short stabbing straight left over and over. For most fights, you'd want to see them create angles for the jab by pivoting slightly, but Joyce has the turning circle of a supertanker,...

Re: Jared Anderson vs. Charles Martin | ESPN - July 1, 2023

It’s a shame but I sort of knew it. Anderson has fast hands, can switch hit and has very good feet - but, lacks pop at HW. He will improve, but he won’t be what everyone expected e.g. a world beater.

I thought Zhan would’ve KO’d him even before the Martin fight.

Why is that? How does it play out in the ring?
It doesn't.
Anderson is overrated. See the Martin fight. Yes, he’s quick and has great feet but doesn’t carry the pop to dent/back up anyone with an OK chin/defence.

Re: How Can Fury Call Himself An ATG Heavyweight When He’s Not Even The Greatest Heavyweight Now????

Acctually you are the idiot. It should be obvious to anyone that I am saying that one fight is comparable with the other not that the fighters are exactly the same. Fury is much better than Vitali was and Usyk is alot better than Adamek was yet their encounter will only prove the same thing that Vi...

Re: Canelo vs. Golovkin Trilogy - Your Scorecards

I think it was about 1-ggg 116-112 2- ggg 115-114 3- canelo 116-114 All these could wiggle significantly due to many close rounds in the first 2 and many nothing rounds on the third. But GGG first, canelo 3rd is certain for me. I like these cards. Too bad they aren' official cards. Agree, but I tho...

Seriously? I had GGG winning wide in first fight, but one round in 2nd (but a draw is fine). The 3rd is irrelevant.

I think people forget, GGG was 35 when they first fought.

Oleksander Usyk is a cruiserweight who at the age of 21 competed as an amateur in the light heavyweight division. Tyson Fury is 6"9 heavyweight. 2 inches taller than Vitali Klitschko was and he isn't suffering from the robotic matchstickman syndrome like Vitali was. This is just Vitali Klitsch...

Re: How Can Fury Call Himself An ATG Heavyweight When He’s Not Even The Greatest Heavyweight Now????

Fury is just a freak show that's bigger than everyone else. The truth is the only great fighter he has beaten is Wladimir Klitchko in a total stink fest that he probably did just enough to nick 7 rounds out of 12. All this talk of being an ATG and retiring after every fight is tedious. How many tim...

Re: How Can Fury Call Himself An ATG Heavyweight When He’s Not Even The Greatest Heavyweight Now????

Fury is most definitely an all time great. Wlad had an 18 title defense streak going when Fury went on the road and beat him as the opponent. Wilder had a 10 title defense streak going and Fury again beat him on the road as the opponent. Wilder's streak should have ended at 7 though as Fury did eno...

He is THE ATG You judge ATG by would they be able to beat any of the boxers before, and the answer is a resounding yes. People look at the 70s and 80s with rose-tinted glasses. Athletes get better with every generation. Fact. Ali and Foreman and the rest NEVER fought anybody who comes CLOSE to the ...

Re: Who had a better WBC reign - Vitali Klitschko or Deontay Wilder

Vitali was better (in prime) and in my view would’ve beaten every HW since 1990 not named Lennox Lewis. Including Fury, Wlad etc. It’s not even a question in my opinion. Lewis and Vitali stand alone. Shout out to prime Holyfield and I will be interested if Usyk takes Fury into the Matrix; which is r...

Re: Poll : Does Tyson Fury career bores you to death ?

To be fair, Fury is rather boring to watch. He’s more entertaining at press conferences. He will go to WWE after he gets flattened or slips. I don’t think he will be boxing into past 35, as he doesn’t seem that dedicated to longevity.
