Re: Mayweather-Ortiz Lands on Primetime PPV
Ortiz's feet get very squared up, and his chin pops right up in the air when he's throwing combos, too. True. Floyd will land that straight right (and anything else he pleases) at will. Complete mismatch. Ortiz, at best will, will win 4 rounds. And most of them will probably from higher workrate.

Re: Khans Youthful Exuberance and Inability to fight a 2nd way
Back to the thread, I understand exactly where you’re coming from. It’s such a shame that an athletic talent like Khan had much of his early career wasted by not learning to box effectively and work towards his strengths. He continued with his amateur style and got by over-matched opponents on athle...

Re: Khans Youthful Exuberance and Inability to fight a 2nd way
I was sitting on the bogs at work today, and had a queery i was wondering people could enlighten me on.... How would Ramadam affect an athlete, it doesnt seem naturally healthy to deprive yourself of food and fluids for upto 17 hours a day, is it harmful? It depends what time of year the fasting is...

Re: Dose Mitchell have the power to hurt murray
Considering Mitchell's inactivity since the Katsidis defeat, not only am I doubting his ability to hurt Murray, but I'm doubting his ability to deal with the pressure that'll come his way, too. He's really up against it this weekend. I just hope he doesn't embarrass himself again and at least provid...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
I'm 99% sure he wanted the money. We're talking over 1million buys not just 100,000. The money that Hatton earned from Mayweather was rumoured to be £20m. Nobody gives up that market completely. The reason Hatton wouldn't give up the 51/49 split was due to him bringing such a high UK revenue Well i...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Pacquiao wanted the UK money split as Mayweather was kicking himself that he let some of that slip. Didn't Hatton take home more than Mayweather due to the UK money? I'm not sure about that, dude. It was purely on the US side of things that Pacquiao was demanding 60-40. Arum improved the offer on h...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Screwed on UK money? It's normal for the UK fighter to keep all the money here, isn't it? So how did Khan screw them on UK money? I mean, Mayweather and Pacquiao didn't get a slice of the money Hatton made here, did they? And this is Mayweather and Pacquiao we're talking about. The then P4P number ...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Risk/reward. He has promotional and TV deals, which we don't know the full details of. If he refuses Khan again next, by all means lay into him. It still doesn't deter from the fact that Bradley was given an extremely generous deal, which is contrary to the claim [by Mighty Warrior, and others] tha...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Isn't Bradley in a contract for his next fight? He can potentially earn a lot more from Khan if he was to fight him after his next fight. That's the impression I've been under anyway. It was first thought that Bradley was taking advantage of HBO's generous $1.2 million offer on his next fight, rega...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Yea, who on earth do Team Khan think they are negotiating the best possible deal for themselves? Did I criticise them? I just said it's a common theme that they are hard to deal with. I guess you were the same guy pointing fingers during every contract fiasco such as Mayweather-Pac, Haye-Kli...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Personally I think it's a Clever move by Judah. If he declared "I'm going to knock Khan out" nobody would give a toss. The fact he has turned around and done this, has got everyone's tongues wagging like crazy. Agree or disagree - it has done the trick, and has also provided a more intere...

Re: Judah Refuses to Speak to UK Media
Well said, Buncey. He should be thankful to be even getting this shot at Khan. His popularity in recent years has been at an all-time low, and a 50-50 split where he'll be earning triple the amount he did last time round, is a blessing for him. But now he thinks he deserves some of the UK money, too...
