Castillo ranked at lightweight?

I can't remember the policy -- does he get 3.5-pounds' grace or something? Seems his situation is no different from Juan Diaz's, who is ranked at junior-welter.

[quote="Blue"] According to news reports it should be a TKO. Iole's report doesn't indicate whether Nady reached 10...but in any event, should we reflect what journists said while scrambling to cobble together their reports, what the NSAC recorded, or what actually happenes when we watch i...

There is no book icon on any fights on that page. Maybe it's my browser...?

I'm all for putting that crap on a different page. I'd extend it to the scorecards and the referee too, though I'm sure that's been discussed.

Garay wasn't close enough to 190 to be considered a cruiserweight, I think that's how the logic goes here. Green was near the light-heavyweight limit in his last fight.

But now the ratings were evaluated against division moves. This showed, ratings are improved by reduction of the rating points, if the boxer moves up the divisions. Best results are yielded, if exact division weight limits are applied. This could be interpreted as a kind of punishment for weight li...

My understanding is that unless a certain number of rounds have been fought, a fight stopped because of an injury not due to a punch will be called a TD. If the predetermined number of rounds have been fought, the scores will be counted and the winner will be determined. For example: Gainer vs. Seda...

Roach in Dunne's corner on ShoBox right now (from 8/19/04), but Justin Fortune is listed on his record. Did he lose Roach since August 19?

- Burton down in 4th from clearly legal blow on the belt at navel level; called low by Kelley. - Augustus warned by Kelley in ??th (forgot the exact round) for "low blow" that hit Burton on the left elbow. - Augustus deducted 1 point in ??th for legally spinning his way out of a clinch. I...

I put the following note in the MIKE TYSON entry in Lewis' record:

"Lewis vacated the IBF title after this fight to avoid fighting mandatory challenger Chris Byrd."

If anyone thinks it should go in the Vitali entry, please let me know. I can see an argument for either way.
