Not bothered about this fight really. I think AJ knocks Fury out for what it's worth, but not bothered if I get to see it or not.

Re: Josh Kelly vs. Jaron Ennis | Unification - Who wins?
Kelly isn't busy enough and he's usually in trouble in the championship rounds. Boots wins easily, Kelly will do well to go the distance.

That logo is shite. Try spending the money on better cards or by signing a fighter that isn't Conor Benn.

Re: Johnny Greaves book out (Bright Lights and Dark Corners)
Undercard fighters never got tested unless there was good reason. Starts at area title fights. Saying that there was never much. I like the title Very occassionally, an undercard fighter will get tested if he is appearing on a bill with a title fight which has testing. That's how Dillian Whyte got ...

Catterall beat him twice and also beat Prograis far more convincingly, but quite rightly he is nowhere near a hall of fame mention

Re: British MW title fight this weekend
It probably will be decent, but British title fights do sometimes go under the radar a bit when neither is really going to progress beyond that level. It’s different when a hot prospect is involved, of whom bigger things are expected. I remember back in 2012 when Freddie Flintoff fought that Yank o...

Re: Adam Smith
Smith always sounds like he needs a s**t. The only current commentators I can actually tolerate are Barry Jones and George Groves (who always gets the blame). In general, I still find the commentary heavily biased towards to home fighter. The absolute worst are Darren Barker, Bellew, Paul Smith (mis...

Yeah I think Hrgvoic's arse was falling out.golden_labrador wrote: ↑23 Sep 2024, 09:58Without the headbutt causing the first huge cut, would Dubois have won? This fight was stopped because of the cuts. I'm not saying he wouldn't have.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2024, 08:03 I think we all didn't give enough credit to his last two wins. The Herg result was a cracking win.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Anthony Joshua II - Rematch
That's the worst I've seen him box. The video of this fight should be shown to new / novice boxers an an example of several things that you just should not do. It may well be that he regressed / fell apart after the first knockdown, but even so. For instance, uppercuts. If Joshua had thrown it prope...

Nathan Gorman? Really? He's the most underwhelming opponent on the whole list. He'll last three rounds max. He could have been good, but he clearly can't be arsed.

Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke II - BBBofC Ordered
I actually think this fight is too big for the AJ vs Dubois undercard, although it would be great to see it.
Both boxers needs to ensure that they get a very large wedge for this, they deserve it.

Re: Joshua Buatsi vs. Willy Hutchinson - Who wins?
Wasn't that impressed with Hutchinson against Richards, was more a case of Richards being absolute rubbish.
Buatsi stops him imo, 7 or 8 rounds.

Re: Who is going to pay the price for Furys defeat?
Can't see Fury winning. Doesn't matter how hard he trains, he simply doesn't have the engine, or the dig, to cope with Usyk who I think will be even better in a rematch. They fight ten times, Usyk wins ten times.

Ford points.
Williams points.
Zhaing stoppage
Hrgovic stoppage
Richards stoppage.

Re: Re-watching Fury v McDermott 1
Anyone seen Fight 2 more recently - that seems to have been one of faded memories of a Fury masterclass - but from what I remember - Fury started off brilliant, McDermott was coming back into it - Fury was still ahead but it was closing rapidly until the clear KO. Perhaps my memory was wrong, but f...

Re: Benn v Orozco
I think Matchroom has put far too many eggs in the Benn basket. The relationship between Benn's team and Matchroom is unnatural. If the Eubank Jnr fight happens, they'll make a few quid, sure, but when they add up all the grief, reputational damage etc, I can't see how it will have been worth it for...
