Re: Cleverly press conference
I bet the fighters that are announced won't be the ones that step in the ring come fight night, they always seem to pull out at the last minute and in their place you get a tomato can. ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Re: FW Press Conference Thursday with all his fighters?
How many people can you honestly see paying for a dedicated boxing channel? how many of you would pay say £5.99 a month? and would you already need to subscribe to Sky sports already? Also will this mean that Hatton might get more of a Sky deal? It is a strange move, lots of ifs and buts - I guess ...

You wont see it because no one else is a egotistical prick lke that dumb ass Merchant. HBO drop Floyd? Floyd has generated over $400M in PPV on HBO. If Mayweather tells them no more Merchant for hs fights, there is no ore Merchant for his fights. All Merchant does is ramble on like Uncle Albet from...

Re: Larry Merchant I Love you
You have to love Merchant after that I think his quote was sheer genius, and if anything HBO should wipe their hands of Mayweather after an outburst like that. You will never see one like that on live TV in any other sport. You wont see it because no one else is a egotistical prick lke that dumb as...

I have never understood why Joe Cortez don't like boxers fighting inside in the big fights he is picked to referee. Hope he don't do it again Saturday ![[icon_e_confused.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

This is exactly the kind of outcome to a fight, that gives the sport we love a bad name. The referee should have had cox out of there by DQ and the judges - wtf were they on?

Primetime TV
Hi Everyone,
I have had a look through to see if there have been any similar posts. All I wanted to know is do Primetime TV charge a registration fee on top of £14.95 when ordering your first PPV, as I'm interested in ordering the Khan v Judah.
Thanks

I think the fight is dead in the water, I mean I wouldn't fight if my money had been cut that much - would you?veriton wrote:Read Khan's money has been cut from 1.25m to 250,000. If that's true then I expect a back injury to occur in the next couple of days.
Don't think Khan will fight in UK again as well.

I this this fight will be called off and probably Khan will not fight in UK again, and he will probably be fucked off with Sky too. Maybe he may come back to ITV?

Cleverly fight switched to 21st May?
Just read on BBC Sport that the fight with Braemer has now been switched to 21st May 2011, probably to be held in London. Has anyone else heard anything. All the agencies still seem to be selling tickets for the original 2nd April 2011 date.

Re: Cleverly vs Breahmer and Murray vs Mitchell on 2nd April???
Please be London, please be London, please be London Its most likely going to be Wembley Arena apparently and that'll be a great venue IMO. Mitchell's fans will buy a fair few tickets i'd imagine and Frankie Gavin gets amazing support wherever he fights so that'll hopefully ensure a full house. Rea...

Glad Cleverly has got his chance, I remember watching him on the undercards of Joe Calzaghe fights, he always impressed me.
