Re: Devin Haney said he'd 'never let a white boy' beat him

Erm last time I checked he was mixed raced. (Half white half black) Calling him black is just as dumb as calling him white. He was adopted by White people. He's Black. Why don't you just admit you were wrong? It ain't the end of the world to be wrong about something. If I were you I would've just s...

Re: Devin Haney said he'd 'never let a white boy' beat him

Lets be real Eastern Europeans, the British, and the Mexicans are clearly the most dominant forces in boxing right now. Like Maliagnaggi said, Black Americans are getting worse every year. The fact that there hasn't been a black male American Olympic Gold medalist in boxing since 1996 speaks volumes...

Re: Devin Haney said he'd 'never let a white boy' beat him

There hasn't been a black american male Olympic Gold medalist in boxing since David Reid all the way back in 1996! , 24 years ago! The 2004 Olympics, and Andre Ward disagree. Erm last time I checked he was mixed raced. (Half white half black) Calling him black is just as dumb as calling him white.

Re: Devin Haney said he'd 'never let a white boy' beat him

Also, I think plenty of black american boxing fans only watch black fighters, and only concentrate on following the divisions they are doing well in -147 and 154 that's it. Notice how most of what they talk about is the Welterweight division, their whole interest in boxing revolves around it LDBC ar...

Re: Carl Froch Podcast

Always found froch hilarious. Don't understand how people don't get his humour. He's also developed into the internet's greatest troll, they never fail to bite when he's fishing. I don't understand it either. Froch is HATED by many british hardcore boxing fans and I don't get it. He was a great fig...

Re: Devin Haney's tweet

If you saw Haneys last fight you'd know he isn't going to be no star. Just because these young lightweight prospects are American they get way more press/attention than they deserve. The main prospects at 135 right now are Lopez, Garcia and Haney. Yeah Ok. But Jose Benavidez Jr and Frankie Gomez we...

Re: Wilder - was he the last Great Black Hope?

I don't usually venture onto the CS because it is a fornicating zoo of gormless opinions but I am shocked to the core that there hasn't been a mention of Cuba on this thread - because once they are open for business, their fighters from their sporting system will be turning pro and there will be lo...

Re: Name your HW prospects?

I would have Majidov right up there at the top based on ability and if he was fast tracked like crazy. But in reality he's left it far too late and it doesn't look like he's gonna be active enough, he's 2-0 and he'll be 34 in August. Looks like he's only gonna be fighting 2 or 3 times a year. Fury a...

It's just because Devin Haney and Deontay Wilder are the biggest clowns in boxing at this particular current time

Best Non-American Lightweight prospects?

These young american lightweight prospects ( Lopez, Haney, R Garcia,)are getting rammed down oyr throat right now like as if they are the new Duran-Leonard-Hagler-Hearns. The US media are really trying to manufacture the lightweight division into the new glamour division. Surely theres good lightwei...

Which countrys boxers after losses make the most excuses/can't accept defeat?

Gotta be the USA imo. I'm noticing in it more and more. Wilder -comedy circus of pathetic excuses after his one sided beatdown by Fury. He also made excuses for his loss in the amateurs to Romanov saying he was sick/ill Russell Jr - claims his loss against Lomachenko was a 'fluke' and that he'd he'd...

You know that joke Wilder has history of making excuses that goes furtger back than the Fury loss

When Fury brought up him getting KTFO in Russia, Wilder claimed he was sick/ill for the Romanov fight hahaha.

Wilder really has set the new benchmark. It has been pathetic how many ludicrous excuses he's making after he got battered from pillar to post every second of the fight.

Re: I told you Crawford was overrated

Skills wise hes not that much, hence why he was a poor amateur. Kavaliauskas had more more boxing skill talent than him. In a 3 round amateur fight Kavaliauskas would have beaten him 100 times out of a 100. It's actually his toughness/will to win/dog in him thats his best asset imo. Hes overated in t...

Re: Why are so many top amateurs not turning pro?

Vitaly Dunaystev -world championship gold medalist and olympic bronze medalist has retired without turning pro, and I think hes only about 27. There just isn't as much chances/promoters/deals/money for a pro in Russia, despite them having so much talent. Maybe he didn't wanna risk it money wise, and...
