Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
They have an issue with these east European boxers and shows. Like they are fraudulently building their career. allegedly, Eddie Hearn and all Uk promoters do the same thing. The Hungarian show in question was as legit as it comes and they refuse to update results or communicate why not. I’ve got th...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
Yes I am. Hence I’ve been trying to solve this with John and Marina. Spoken to different commissions across the world about what they are doing. They don’t have the power and authority to do what they are currently doing but for unknown boxers, it’s easier for them to get away with. UK do exactly wh...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
The Slovakian commission did not tell me what the problem was that Boxrec had with them. Boxrec have issues with Mexican, Georgian, Hungarian and Slovakian results but update USA, Canadian, Australian, UK and rest of the western world that use Mexican or Eastern Europeans to build their fighters. Ma...

Re: Why have Ashley Theophane and Prince Patel’s records not been updated yet?
Spoke to the Slovakian commission today. By Boxrec not recording results from certain commissions, they are putting fighters health at risk. If a fighter gets knocked out and is suspended for his own safety. By boxrec not recording the result, is putting his or her safety at risk as he can continue ...

Re: Why have Ashley Theophane and Prince Patel’s records not been updated yet?
Notice how nobody from boxrec has responded to this post yet. Last time I questioned their decision regarding a couple of Danny Williams’ fights they locked the post off so it was an end to the conversation. Because they know they’re in the wrong. The boxers have all necessary proof that Hungary sh...

Re: Why have Ashley Theophane and Prince Patel’s records not been updated yet?
Boxrec ratings are laughable. They add wins they find to fighters records from Yesteryear like Sugar Ray Robinson and Cleveland Williams etc but can’t add legit wins to Ashley Theophane’s or Danny’s Williams’ records cos they have a beef with the promoters. Exactly! How you putting up results from ...

Re: Why have Ashley Theophane and Prince Patel’s records not been updated yet?
They done the same with Danny Williams a couple years ago. They left one of his wins off boxrec. He currently has 53 wins but it should be 54. Also he boxed an exhibition in Riga and they went and recorded it as a loss. g Boxrec is letting itself down. 5/6 boxers have contacted them and submitted e...

Re: why are boxrec points changing more than the wind?
@Teflondon19 computerrank, please don't think im having a go, but its really not making any kind of sense. I mean should it be possible for an 0-3 fighter with 0.046 points beforehand beating a guy who is 7-0-1 with 0.053 points beforehand....then ending up with a whopping 26.72 points afterwards? ...

I think theres been close to 4 points updates inside a couple of months. im all for new systems etc, but there are so many anomalies that don't make any mathematical sense, which is apparently what the system is based on? computerrank, please don't think im having a go, but its really not making an...

Re: why are boxrec points changing more than the wind?
Boxrec pick and choose what shows they are going to post so many fighters records are not accurate. So we can’t have faith with Boxrec ranking systems as many fighters records are not accurate. Stop having so much faith in Boxrec. Marina and John are harming many fighters careers with their inaccura...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
Not everyone is blessed to fight on big shows in USA and UK. Most fighters box on small cards around the world. Marina and John Sheppard are doing a disservice to boxer across the world. This is harmful to their careers and potentially holding it back and big paydays. So based on EU law, they are as...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
That’s what I’m hoping John and Marina Sheppard do. I do not understand their stance. The Hungary show ticks all the boxes. The boxers have participated in a professional boxing match and Boxrec refuse to put up the results or even tell the boxers why. The promoter works within the EBU rules. The sh...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
So John says his lawyer said he shouldn’t comment until they go to court. That makes no sense! Why not update the results. Two commissions sanctioned the event. 3 known boxers was on it. Plus over 500 people. Plus video evidence been posted on social media. This situation is stressful for fighters i...

Re: Update profile
please scan and email passport or ID card to boxrec@gmail.com It’s nice that you reply to others on here John. The fighters just want Boxrec to update the 23 March 2019 show. I don’t see what the issue is. Everyone just wants to move onto their next stage. That’s all they want. That is what Boxrec ...

Re: Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March
Getting lawyers seems the only way to go. The Hungary show ticked all the boxes and is not being posted. Ashley Theophane is fighting in Dubai in a months time. A first time promoter will promote and only 500 people will be in attendance, are they not going to record that result also. I'm disappoint...

The call themselves the official boxing record keepers but pick and choose what results they want to put up even when official commissions have sanctioned bout.

Boxing show in Hungary: Saturday 23rd March

The event was OFFICIAL !!! The Slovakian Federation sanctioned !!!! And there was the Hungarian Federatio...
