The result Alf James vs Charlie Catterall is incorrectly shown as having taken place in Pretoria on the 9 March 1946. They actually fought at the Wembley Stadium in Johannesburg on this date.

No tournament took place in Johannesburg on 17 December 1945. The two results shown on this date relate in fact to the tournament held in Pretoria on the same date which is shown in Boxrec. The venue in Pretoria however was the Caledonian Grounds and not the City Hall.

The date shown for the Smiler Meyer vs Andries Bushney contest in Pretoria is incorrectly shown as 29 December 1945. The correct date is in fact 30 January 1946.

It has come to my attention that the date specified for the Basil Good v Snowy Smith bout on BoxRec is incorrectly shown as 30/01/1945 (see link above). The correct date is in fact 30/01/1946.
