Re: Adam Azim vs. Ohara Davies | Sky Sports - 19 October 2024
There's no way you can find 7+ rounds for Edmonson in that fight, he barely landed a.meaningful punch the entire fight. He had a good bodyshot in r10, everything else was such poor form,. mainly because he was concentrating on holding instead of following anything up. It was an awful performance, a...

Re: Kovalev - How much can we read into his win over Cleverly?
Alas Cleverly was made for Kovalev. Clev fights with his jaw sticking out like he's leaning in for a kiss. I'm surprised the Russian didn't knock him out his boots earlier.
Hope Kovalev gets some more opportunities now and that Cleverly sticks with it. It would be a shame for him to retire so young.

Yes indeed there are a few phpBB mods out there that would do the job.jtourettes wrote:I liked it but as I said in the other thread, it would be nice if a mobile mode could be enabled for when you're viewing from a phone, whilst the skins are being fiddled with.

Like that idea. Change santa and the tree to a stripper on a pole and "Merry Christmas" to "Merry Boobmas".Jeff Thomas wrote:I quite like it can we have naked boobies in the background going forward

Certainly a bit of a step up for Clev but I'd expect a UD for the lad.
Good name for his record.

Certainly the Super Six provided gave Froch more exposure to the casual fan. His fight-anyone attitude will certainly earn him more fans as his career goes on.

Still, the chap could box on Class A drugs. A glass of milk at 21:30 puts me out for the count!

Re: Anyone think Froch beats Joe C now?
Ward beat Froch because he was able to control the tempo of the fight, something he simply wouldn't be able to do against Joe. Calzaghe would work him too hard and he'd crumble. UD for me. As for Froch Calzaghe, well its always been a no contest for me. Another UD unless Calzaghe Margarito'd his ass...

Re: DOES FROCH EQUAL CALZAGHE IF HE BEATS WARD ??
Agree with Kingfinn. You don't hold titles as long as he did without being hot property. No disrespect to our newboy though. Carl Froch has a real chance to upset the boxing world if he keeps his gloves up this time. If Kessler exploited that you can bet your boots Ward'll be all over him like choco...
