Re: Round-by-Round: Liam Davies vs. Ionut Baluta | BT Sport - 19 November 2022
Davies and Masoud were in the same amateur gym so some backstory to it as well along with both winning amateur titles.- same as his amateur fights with Andrew cain...some story to it. Politics would probably say though there in the more risk than reward category now though. Being from Telford I'd li...

Part of me was thinking it was going to be a Cinema release only so you have to turn up in one of them to watch it which would be a bit dour.

According to said promoters website Walsh v Troy James is also on the bill Apparently Richard Towers is also fighting though I wouldn't envisage its against anyone of note based on the fights already on the card. The cards looking that stacked it makes you wonder why a couple of these fights haven't...

Being From Telford this has made me smile. We do have a Strange accent admittedly and when abroad I have been told I have a Brummy Accent, Scouse Accent and Welsh accent depending on what part of the country the person I am speaking to is from. That said - when I hear Richie speak I don't pick up a...

I had a dream this week (as sad as it may be) that Cleverly scored a knockdown in the first round with a left hook - mega bizarre! I can't see it happening in the sane world but got to have a couple quid on it now just in case

Re: Boxrec ratings
It is amazing really, you would have though that it would be to the benefit of everyone, promoter, board, fans and boxers themselves to have a ranking system - which in theory would create more 50/50 fights, that said suppose it depends on who is controlling or influencing the rankings

Re: Kevin Mitchell v Tommy Coyle
Before Saturdays fight I would have backed Mitchell anyway.
Saturday has made me more convinced that Mitchell will win and stop Coyle - Mitchell hits very hard to the body so wouldn't surprise me to see him wear Coyle down.

Re: Scottish light welterweight title
Good stuff - will be interested to see his opponent, plenty of options out there for him with the belt plus as mentioned in previous post, some good domestic scraps. I noticed on Boxrec John Murray is listed as a light Welterweight - that would be an intriguing one though I am guessing that John is ...

What Is Happening with Limon at the moment? Is he still the commonwealth champion?
There is a lot of fights out there at the weight for him domestically - either as 'step-ups' or 'step-downs' but is he the forgotten man now?

Prizefighter is like Johnsons Paint Trophy of boxing and it's just sad to see a legend like Toney in it. This - it happens, if nothing else is on people will watch it, but no one really cares and makes an effort to tune in. This could possibly be the worse line up ever......though that said, a few ...

Re: STEVENSON v BELLEW Nov 30
Personally think Tony as a fantastic chance, and is possible one of the strongest opponent Stevenson will have faced (in terms of actually strength) so when they get in close I see the bomber tying up fairly effectively. Jab is the key here, obviously underrated as a weapon by many, but I think Tony...

Re: Anybody a little disappointed with Froch's performance?
1 I thought Froch would be much more physically dominant than he was, and increasingly so throughout the fight 2 Most pundits were tipping Froch to win comfortably on points and I felt to make a real statement he would need to stop Kessler, so he only really did what was expected and no more 3 Last ...
