Re: The best who weren't champs.
the forgotten eddie booker why hes not in canastoga is a farce. only five losses in some 80 bouts and was never stopped, eye problems cut short his career. in one of his last bouts he stopped archie moore flooring him 5 times. i belive i read a quote by moore years ago that booker was the best fight...

Re: Lightweights: Henry Armstrong vs Roberto Duran
ELMER i wont debate with you anymore because you do not have any knowledge of boxing history if it happened before 1975.the statement that duran had better skills then robinson was the knockout blow for me. my friend and historian jack kincaid almost fell off my couch when he read that statement.

pete sanstol
pete sanstol is not enshrined in the hof in canastota. this has to be a complete farce, he fought 112 bouts and lost but 6 also he was never stopped. he held the batamweight title losing it on a close decison to hofer panama brown, he joins davey moore, eddie booker, and bushy graham who also should ...

Re: The Best DeMarco: Tony or Paddy?
I saw them both in their prime. paddy was a very underrated fighter whos only drawback was he had no power, he was a very rough fighter who liked to use his head a lot hence the nickname the brooklyn billy goat. tony was a good puncher who could not take a punch very well as basilio and akins kod hi...
