At least he got to commemorate his fleeting claim to fistic finesse. Whilst sat on the stairs of a suburban semi.

I'd love to hear his dad recite that ^

Re: DAZN policy on PPV

I wasnt gonna buy it until I saw this thread as I thought it would be £18 or whatever. But as I have DAZN it cost me a tenner. Not gonna stay up for it but will watch next morning. I have no interest in any undercard fight either. I feel DAZN is decent value….. I cannot believe the US PPV prices som...

Re: Joe Joyce vs. Joseph Parker | BT PPV - 24 September 2022

This is a really good match up but never PPV. Neither of them have ever beaten a world class opponent. They’re fringe world level - if Joyce wins convincingly then fair enough he makes strides towards the elite bit if Parker wins he’s only beaten a guy whose best win was Dubois. Parker did beat fat...

Imagine Shields or Marshall stretchered from the ring when the nation is in mourning, followed by headlines and amplified focus the sport could do without.

TBF I do kinda get that argument, especially as it’s a wornen only bill.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - Who wins?

60-40 with no PPV or TV money .. plus a re-match clause and tied to Old-Fish-eyes for his next 10 fights .. or something worse Lol true things are much more complicated than simple purse breakdown. I’m so bored of hearing social media talk and unfulfilled fights. It’s so tiring. I want to hear abou...

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - Who wins?

The only offer on the table will be like 70-30, nevertheless it's still the biggest payday for AJ out there Fury says he’s offered Joshua 60-40 which is extremely reasonable (if true lol) 60-40 with no PPV or TV money .. plus a re-match clause and tied to Old-Fish-eyes for his next 10 fights .. or ...

Re: Lee Appleyard Retires as Newly-Crowned Champion

Good to see someone get everything they can from the sport and walk away on a high note. It's not all about world titles, only a small percentage of fighters in this country ever win English or Area titles. Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - Who wins?

Fury will of course use this as an opportunity to try and get the lion's share of the purse. It's obviously a bit fight if it happens, even now - but I find it hard to believe they're going to negotiate this in time for December. Doesn't happen. The only offer on the table will be like 70-30, never...

Re: Joshua on the mic

I don't think so. The casuals are pretty fickle. He's widely known now as 2nd best to Fury. The people that buy the majority of PPVs aren't boxing fans, they're fans of fighters - it's like paying to watch football... You'll only pay for your team. Not many are likely to pay after him losing 3/5 of...
