Re: Anybody a little disappointed with Froch's performance?
I was very dissapointed, I'd like to see Froch in an entertaining fight for once, not these yawners he keeps giving us. Whats wrong with going gung ho now and again? It was like watching Audley Harrison v Johnny Nelson.

Re: Broner v Rees
Rees is quick, tricky and tough as stone. Personally I fancy him to give Broner a few problems here.

Now I'm no business genius but I have to guess that seeing the words "negative", "loss" & "unpaid" in a financial statement cant be good.

How many at Khan Molina where there for free.
I'm guessing there was a slight surplus of tickets.

Re: Amir khan looks good !!!!!
Khan was still the same old Khan, overrating his own power, trying to force a knockout, taking punches. He was lucky he wasn't in with a hitter again. He still seems delusional : "When I hit guys clean, they go down" - so why didn't this 5'5'' lightweight go down when you hit him clean? &...

Re: Amir khan looks good !!!!!
Just to re iterate what everyone else has already said. He looked good because he won. Still taking shots but they where from a much lighter non puncher. Had he fought Danny Garcia last night the result would have been exactly the same as when they fought. Garcia KO Khan. Any light welter in the wor...

Re: Why do we have to login for Brit Forum?
I seem to recall the logging in came about around the same time as a certain British promoters name was changed to Allegedly on the board. If I remember rightly that was due to FW getting a load of stick on here for one of Hattons opponents falling through. I dont know if the logging in and the &quo...

Re: Any defenders of British officials show your face.....
I had Purdy knocking him out, that was more like the Lynes that we saw around the time of the Branco robbery. I seem to moan about the judges every week, but ffs :witzend: How far does it have to go before something is done? Imagine the outcry if someone had scored Calzaghe vs Lacy 115-113 to Calza...

Re: Thank you Channel 5
Add my agreement to this thread. Production was good, Commentary team superb, Bernstein is the man. So good to not have commentators who are in the pocket of the promoter and calling a fight right down the middle. And the fight was a pretty decent, competitive, domestic scrap. Thoroughly enjoyed ton...

Re: More Shame And Disgrace For British Boxing Another Black Eye
The bottom line is Cook shouldnt have been in there in the first place. Surely there are other fighters in the world more deserving of a world title shot than a guy with only a few rounds under his belt in 2 years. It turned into the farce it deserved to be.

Re: Tonight's matchups - worst Sky Card this Year?
The worst this year? It's got some competition. Jamie McDonnell v Nick Otieno with Wright v Smedly on the u/c was fairly uninspiring. John Murray v El Ouazghari and BJ Saunders blowing away a hopelessly outmatched Turk was desperately poor on paper, although Murrays weak performance and the gamenes...

Re: Tonight's matchups - worst Sky Card this Year?
Absolutely appalling show. I didnt realise Sky had taken to showing live Bullying on Saturday nights. A shame really as Sky do seem to be trying with boxing, and have delivered some decent competitive bouts lately, but this was a shambles and was the epitome of everything that is wrong with British ...

Re: Shotime's commentary of Froch v Jonson
I have said for years that SKY could save a fortune by doing away with our own pundit's in the Studio, who as far as I can see are only there to explain to the retarded how everything relates to Britain, or a British fighter. All they need to do is just show the event, as a whole, as broadcast on Sh...

Re: Nelson and Commentry team so disrespectful to Groves
Are people only just realising this? I've had a major problem with this for quite some time. The marquee fighter is always the one they commentate on. "Degale needs to do this" or "Thats better from Degale". Very rare you see much credit given towards the other man in the ring. I...

Froch v Dirrell on primetime was free??? I think.
Ok so I'm tuned into watching the abraham / taylor fight on some online network and after its finished some guy in the chat room points out that if you switch on 480 on sky you can watch the fight. Of course I was a bit sceptical thinking it was just the freeview portion, but sure enough it stayed o...
