I boxed a Jamie Robinson from Repton 2 years running in the Schoolboys 1982-83. We were 13-14 years old. If that's the lad you are on about he won a few national junior titles and did have some pro fights in the UK and the states, but I don't recall him winning any professional titles.

It seems to be one of these small hall (although the venue is actually a decent size) bills that only really appeal to the mates of the "home" boxers. You can only get away with this for so long. It's a shame, as we used to have regular bills in Peterborough, but there's no way I'd shell ...
