Re: Has anyone come back from two bad back to back losses?
It depends at what level you are talking? Pele Reid had three awful stoppage defeats in a row years back (Julius Francis, Orlin Norris and Jacklord Jacobs consecutively) and looked ABSOLUTELY finished. He came back to post some decent wins after that but any form was usually intercepted with a stopp...

Seamus beat Paul Butler in the amateurs and has been around the game along time. Back when Matt first turned professional Seamus was constantly by his side. HE went everywhere with him, and spent alot of time in the gyms.
Give him time. I think he'll turn into a fine coach!

Re: So who's going to the Froch v Groves fight
I'm going, they were still selling them a few days ago but only with coach and only a limited amount of £30 seats left. They finished on Monday. Did they sell them all or just take them off sale? Will it actually be 80,000 there. I'm at Wembley with 80,000 one saturday then either The Venue in Dudl...

Re: Journeyman turned contender
Not sure he turned into a contender, but Ryan Clark had a nice turn around in 2012 with two stoppage wins over Jonjo Finnegan and a first round win over Jamie Boness. He had stopped taking fights short notice and came with ambition. He then challeneged Martin Concepcion for the Midland belt in 2013 ...

Wasn't there a rumour that him, Booth etc had to drive around the O2 a few times prior to Groves boxing Degale because of his nerves?
Only a rumour I heard somewhere. Could be no truth in it whatsoever!?!

I wouldn't bring wives or girlfriends into it, it lacks class. If she didn't get her tits out for a living, I'd agree, but she chooses to do what she does and to me, that means she's fair game since she's happy to show her body off to everyone. Maybe I'm just old school then. It's just the last blo...

Re: Jamie Cox returns
Cox gets a lot of unnecessary stick in my opinion, have always liked his style - back to when he lost to Michael Grant in the 2005 64kg ABA final in a cracker. He's usually good to watch - his eight rounder with Mark Lloyd in Wolverhampton was a great undercard fight, and demonstrated both Cox's goo...

Glad Fewkes is back! Wished I could have seen the bout last night, any version of it available online? Thought he might be able to trump Miles on points over 8.
Hope he doesn't let this affect him and go missing for another 12-18 months like his first defeat.
