Re: Hit Man: The Thomas Hearns Story
It was like something off rocky how he managed to get up in the hagler fight although he was out. Was bought up on Hearns by my old man, and only in last couple of years having rewatched old fights, that i have started to appreciate tommy's hand speed, boxing ability abd movement, rather than his po...

Simple really, a lack of discipline and a complete lack of respect for anything. Bad parenting is the biggest cause for concern, but I don't really see what the solution is when the parents are often as bad as the kids themselves. Agree with the parenting issue. Was working outdoors on a local hosp...

Darren Campbell has always looked very soft for a sprinter, always carrying body fat, but peversely, he's the most successful guy we have since Linford. John Regis was another one who looked soft for a sprinter but was deceptivly quick over 200 m holding the british record at 19.94 secs. http://www...

Nz won gold, don't know the score tho, Got back from a weeks holiday in France on Wednesday, Went to a bar to watch the game, had high expectations, sung the national anthem and everything and then watched in horror as England put on one of there worst performances in my memory and France didn't pla...

England - Italy should be a win for England so i'll go for an England victory by 35 points. Wales - Scotland will be a very close game, Scotland had a great result and performance last week and Wales were a lot better than the scoreline suggested. I have a feeling that wales will just sneak it by ab...

Presumably then I could just run the coaxial cable from the back of the TV to the VCR, as the TV is receiving the signal from the homechoice box? That should do it, but you would have to tune your video to your homechoice box. Might sound thick but assuming the homechoice box is just like a sky box...

When you live with a bird (I dont anymore!) its best to have a second TV so you can banish her to the bedroom to watch Eastenders etc. while you watch sport! Shame that most men I know or speak too don't think that way Nick. :TU: They'd rather watch Eastenders with them! :o Now if you had said Coro...

Agreed J that this England team is not wallowing in past glories, i just think that the level of expectation in the press and some fans has multipled since the 2003 wc. In context only 1 team has won the world cup more than once, so doing it back to back must be nearly impossible ! At the next world...

It's far too predictable, expect to see Hodgson play over 10 crossfield kicks. Outside of Lewsey there aren't enough gameline breakers in the backs, agree with J that if Smith isn't picked then Lewsey should play outside centre, he looked fantastic there for Wasps at the end of last season. Who can...

Audley came across quite well this morning and said he will be in the WBC top 10 if he wins his next fight and it doesn't matter who he faces, he joked about facing one of the audience. Also he said he hopes to fight Vitali next summer and thinks he will get his chance. He also stated that he has op...

Audley on Soccer am this morning
Audley Harrison is on soccer am at some point this morning. Not the best thread that has ever been started, but am sure some people (chambers2) will be interested.
