I'm looking for the amateur boxing records of bodybuilder Franco Columbu and singer Billy Joel. Can anyone help? Also is there a good resource for amatuer records especially celebrities?

Understandable but five fights with Lorenzo Strickland?

I was just looking over Jake Lamotta's record and he fought a lot of rematches for some reason and I'm not talking about Sugar ray Robinson either. Does anybody have any idea why?

Looking at the Bobick/Norton is confusing. It wasn't just a case of someone getting caught early or an over-rated fighter being exposed. After Kenny caught Duane with one good shot, Bobick went to the ropes and just stood there getting hammered with a scared look on his face until he went down. He d...

Lamotta's not on this list?

I can't see this as anything but a crushing win by Frazier. Could Norton handle Frazier's punching power? No. Could he get away from Frazier? No. Could he hurt/KO/or back up Frazier? No. Ken Norton (who I really liked BTW) fought three big punchers and got creamed by all three of them. Frazier was n...

Not sure if we have done this before, but who in your opinion had career wise the worst collection of opponents? Someone like Mike Tyson cannon fodder Sammy Scaff who never beat an opponent with a winning record or seminal female boxer Cathy "Cat" Davis whose 12 fight career included six f...

Danny Lopez at #1. He really could knock you unconscious with one punch.

Definitely Julian Jackson and John Mugabi

Hagler is my all time #2 to Robinson.

He was also ahead of Jerry Quarry before getting KO'd. The bottom line being that he got KO'd by the only two decent fighters ever ever faced before getting his shot at Holmes.

Lorenzo Zanon

Leon Spinks, Jewey Smith.

Only if I thought they had anything to do with the fight. :)

I'm not talking about it being a quickie KO. Those happen, but the minute Duane got hit he acted like he had never been in a fight before in the life. He just stood on the ropes, holding his hands incorrectly with a scared look on his face, like the kid in junior high being beaten on by the school b...

Thanks bro, remind me to double check Youtube before I post any of their stuff again.

Who is this? Quarry never fought anyone named Kilgour did he? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ILvl-08oE8

And this has what to do with Ali vs Young?

And the previous several messages have what to do with Ali vs Young?

Here a very specific questions I don't think we've covered. What is the biggest turnaround in a fight? I don't mean biggest come from behind win necessarily (although that qualifies) but fighter A is getting his ass really kicked by fighter B and comes back and KO's him. I'm thinking Tate vs Weaver ...

I started turning off the sound years ago during boxing matches. Kind of like when I watch porn.

Ali wins a decision in the most mind-numbingly boring fight in history.

So who do you think had the best build in boxing history? I'm thinking Ken Norton hands down. But Evander Holyfield, Marvin Hagler, Cleveland Williams also come to mind.

Should Cathy "Cat" Davis, female boxer from the 70's/early 80's be considered a serious boxer? Boxrec list her record suspiciously undefeated, with four KO wins against one opponent who retired with a 0-6 record (5 KO losses) etc.

Tony Ayala Jr, one of the most exciting fighters I have ever watched. Beat/Sexually assaulted or attempted to sexually assault three women before turning 21.
