Re: What now for brook
Brook weakened himself last time out making a low weight with the Khan fight in mind, now that's gone he can allow his body to be at 154 where it should be. Brook also came into the fight with probably the wrong mindset, especially compared to the opponent who came to give his all. The opponent didn...

Re: Boxers that could have used a ‘Jack Reiss’
IMO there should always be a full 10 count issued unless a fighter is in clear immediate medical danger such as convulsing etc. Other than that a full count should be issued which might be pointless in many cases but it removes all doubt and controversy.

Re: Fury's Heart
Agreed. It was miraculous how he got up and came back from that. Truly Holmes/Shavers territory. Can you imagine Terry O'Connor or Howard Foster seeing Fury like that. They'd have shat themselves and started waving like the Queen instantly. That is the first thing I thought of post fight......it is...

Re: Fury's Heart
The amount of time he got to recover from getting knocked down is ridiculous, almost on a par with the 30 seconds Benn got vs McClellan. Not really....he hit the deck at 2.23 and the fight resumed at 2.02. The referee issues the count and then did a couple of checks to make sure that Fury was in a ...

Re: HEARN'S QUIET
Hean has no reason to be quiet....he and Joshua are in an improved position really. The draw and obvious controversy between Fury/Wilder certainly doesn't hurt Joshua or Hearn. It actually helps them because Wilder has lost some credibility given that he should have lost, and Fury rightly or wrongly...

Re: AJ vs Wilder...what tactics would AJ use
Joshua's best bet would be too come in light and fast and go straight for the kill. Wilder can't counter punch so its not really risky being aggressive with him......far more dangerous if Joshua tried to box cagily which would give Wilder the time and space to measure and line up his right hand. Jos...

Re: Dereck Chisora to be managed by David Haye
But the in the build up for the fight, they said they hated each other...... Surely, they weren't just lying to promote the fight? At the time they fought they probably did hate each other. There was nothing phony about their grudge, their brawl in Munich was definitely for real. Fists, bot...

Re: Dereck Chisora to be managed by David Haye
With this move Chisora is giving himself the best chance of achieving in what is left of his career. He showed against Takam and Whyte the first time that when he's motivated he's a genuine challenge to anyone....and if he can build on that with improved conditioning, nutrition and dedication to the...

Re: Round-by-Round: Lewis Ritson vs. Francesco Patera - 13 October 2018 - 13 October 2018
It was a great learning experience for Ritson if he's prepared to learn the lessons and ring some changes.... He looked superb early doors and the way he closes range with his footwork is exceptional, first few rounds he was absolutely bossing it and had Patera in trouble. BUT he was only bringing ...

Alvarez will do whatever Alvarez wants to do......he and his promoter have a corrupt relationship with the WBC and the Nevada state athletic commission. No f*cker will ever get a fair shake against this guy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=192z_8KhF-M Despite Victor Conte being a rat. he knows his stuff. sounds like a fighter just taking advantage of Britain crap drug rules. Re: video of lemieux k.o of of o" sullivan
He's a huge puncher, but he needs someone whose there to be hit to be successful. O'Sullivan was the perfect foil for him to look good against. But everyone saw the way that BJS utterly humiliated him just by using boxing and movement. And there was no excitement or suspense watching that fight beca...

Re: Joshua Got The Ump
If Joshua had remained polite under that from Miller I'd be more concerned..... Can be the nicest guy in the world when spoken to with respect, but a monster should always emerge if disrespected. Miller is a fat f*ck who came to mouth off, Joshua acted the way any fighter should have acted. Ready to...

Re: Lewis Ritson
See an interview with Burns yesterday where he said he was planning to fight on at lightweight, meaning he wont be fighting Taylor any time soon, which makes Ritson vs Burns a possibility. That may be a fight to consider, Burns may be past his best but should still be tough and savvy enough to take...

Re: Lewis Ritson
Ritson has great potential.......because he can punch like hell, is huge for a lightweight, and has an outstanding temperament. He's also a very likeable lad who will appeal to the masses if he keeps doing the business. But he is still raw and even though he's walked through British level, there hav...

Re: Jamie McDonnell (WBA 'Regular') vs. Naoya Inoue - May 25th 2018
While Inoue looked sensational I think there is a real danger in going overboard over this win, which in all honesty came against a ridiculously weight weakened champion. McDonnell should have moved up a long time ago but boiled down once more because the money on offer was too good to turn down.......

Re: Errol Spence vs. Kell Brook 2
Like I said it's a 12 round fight.. Also, his eye didn't 'just go'.. Spence punched his eye out of its socket.. It did't just magically get damaged.. It is a 12 round fight, but Brook had showed no signs of weakening until the eye injury occurred against the run of play and that's the point. It occ...

Re: Errol Spence vs. Kell Brook 2
Brook is just not a better boxer than Spence.. Spence cuts just as much weight as Brook. Like Gil said, it will be same outcome. Brook was winning the fight until the eye went. Spence hadn't proven to be the better fighter until that injury occurred against the run of play. Add to this that Brook i...

Errol Spence knows he was lucky getting Brook to drag himself down to 147........ 154 would be a totally different Brook. Re: Sparring partner compares power of Joshua, Wilder, Wlad
Wilder probably has the more explosive single shot bomb, but a great many of his punches are sloppy and I would imagine his power is inconsistent. While Joshua's better technique means he hits heavily with just about all his shots. Both have the power to flatten the other.....but Wilder would have ...
