He says a lot of things. I don't think he fights again he has been out too long, would of got the comeback fights out the way this year if he was serious

He hasn't had surgery on anything other than his ankle. I don't think the head injury will be a problem

Re: So, what now for the British super middleweights?
Ramirez has won an eliminator, letters go out on 31st December so he would be in pole position to fight DeGale

Re: Will Carl Froch Vacate
I don't understand why he doesn't fight dirrell in vegas , can that not me made ? No. Dirrell's mandatory is Groves. Negociations are already on their way for Jan/Feb 2015. Those rankings aren't up to date. Ramirez would get the fight he is the only one other than DeGale that's won an official elim...

Re: what fights in uk are worthy of PPV ?
Realistically there is a lot. Any Froch fight. DeGale V Groves Quigg v Framption Brook v Khan/JMM/Pacqaiou Joshua v Price(with a big co main, Bellew v Huck?) Haye v Any decent heavy Mayweather v Pacman Khan v Mayweather/Pacman Fury v Joshua Then there is the possibility of them doing a "stacked...

I think its a cash out fight too. I just don't see the motivation, he lacks belief and self confidence for the 1st time and just seems to be going through the motions.

Re: Is cleverly getting massively underrated
I think Bellew has been goading Clev into believing it is going to be a phonebox fight, hes going to get on his bike get behind the jab and run. He learns a lot in rematches., will establish the jab early and 1st 6 rounds will be very dull

Re: FW loses £2m lawsuit against Ricky Burns
Burns has to pay FW £73k in back manger fees. Burns owed the £103k from allegedly Promotions, which is in Liquidation so who knows how much he will get. Burns wins the case and could end up out of pocket, justice? surely he can take that back to court and just withhold payment of 73k against the 10...

Genuine question Curtis, IF your serious about continuing boxing was it not a mistake to go to Hobson if Fish eyes wont let you fight on BN? Hobson doesn't do business with Hearn so where is left for you to go?

Re: SKY PPV financial question???
The ticket prices are a lot more expensive that normal, they will have done £2million on the gate alone, plus sponsorships etc. The purses for the event wont be more than that. They are already in profit before a PPV is sold I would wager

DeGale is a bit dim but I thought he came across very likeable, give credit where it was due and he does look like he's learnt a lot since the groves fight. Groves was very arrogant and delusional as usual

Re: Scott Quigg to fight Hidenori Otake
Slag Quigg off for the late replacement opponents like Munyai and Jamoye. This guy is an absolutely fine opponent if it is indeed the guy for the job. Wake would have been the best realistic available guy (they have openly said they don't want Rigo just yet, Santa Cruz aint coming over here, Martin...

Re: Bellew PPV in trouble ?
Eddie keeps banging on about how good the undercard will be either he has something up his sleeve. Quigg v TBA, Smith v TBA, Joshua v Sprott and Mcdonell fake defence is really poor. He said 3 great fights to be added, unlikely at 4 weeks notice

One picture is hardly conclusive anyway, for all we know hey could of ripped some off the gauze off when taking the glove off and some lose tape stuck back down, knuckles don't look all that padded in that picture so imagine they have removed most of it already

Khan may or may not be 'popular' mate but that is largely irrelevant whether people like him - the fact is probably 8 or 9 out of 10 people in this county KNOW who he is and he is known as one of the most exciting fghters in world boxing. You must remember we're not just talking about a basic boxin...

Re: Burns vs Mitchell 2 if it occured
Would you back Crolla, Mitchell, Flannigan, and Campbell (a bit untested there!) to beat Crawford, Beltran, and Dejan :?? I'd say Dejan is about Euro level and Ricky arguably won fix or six rounds, so I'd still consider him at least a Euro level fighter, and I don't think Mitchell and co. are at a ...

Bit of a stretch when hes lost his last 3 comfortably. Id back Crolla and Mitchell to beat him at this point and probably Campbell and Flanagan toobilly nelson wrote:Watch Ricky bounce back in Leeds, he's still easily the best LW in the UK
