Re: how much current boxing do you watch?
I do not watch current boxing anymore. Only, for example, when fury fights wilder or so, i watch the highlights on youtube the next day. but i still watch the old fights often. i think the history of boxing is huge and great and theres is still very much to discover. but to be honst, i often wathch ...

George Foreman called everyone the GOAT: Frazier, Ali, Louis , Lewis...
i think Lewis is the best of his Generation. if hes the GOAT I dont know, but ist possible, but it could also be Holmes for example.

Most fearsome Heavyweight since 1950
What do you think ? Today , Mike Tyson is often described as the most feared boxer ever. But is this true? Sure he was very feared. but on the other hand: There are many rumors that he was scared himself of 41-year old Foreman when he was 23 years young. Foreman was maybe the strongest boxer ever in...

Re: Poll: Muhammad Ali's best ever win
Normally you could say the win in the second fight against Liston was the best, because Liston was great and Ali knocked Liston out in the first round. He moved very well and the punch was well-done. But the problem ist that the fight was maybe faked. The thrilla in Manilla was incredible but Ali wa...

I saw a Picture of Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury. I woud have thought the difference woud be bigger. Id say if mike is 5-10 than Fury is Maybe 6-7 or something.

Re: controversial descisions in ali-fights!?
puh, to be honest, when i think about it, im a bit disappointed. im a big ali-fan, but when you look clearly at his fights in the 70s, then it wasent that much glorious. The win about FOREMAN is an outstanding masterpiece, but in the other fights Ali wasent clearly better than the others heavyweight...

Re: controversial descisions in ali-fights!?
Im wondering why Ali had so much Trouble with Norton, because if we exclude the alifights Norton dident prove that much. he fought a good fight with Holmes later, but when he fought Ali the firtst time he actually was a no Name.

Interesting bout. Maybe Wladimir would knock him out like Lewis did. But on the other Hand, Golota was a maniac, with a great Body and punching power.

Re: controversial descisions in ali-fights!?
I dont know, if the second Ali-Liston-Fight was fake. Theres no doubt in my opinion that Liston was hit very hard and he was moving foreward. maybe he he hadent enough guts to fight any further because he thought Ali would beat him up. But I doubt he took a dive intentionally. It reminds me ab bit o...

controversial descisions in ali-fights!?
At the moment, i spend some of my time with analysing and watching muhammad alis carrer and i have to realize that many of his fights, mainly fights he won, are disputed by many. Before his break 1967 theres only 1 fights, which ist unclaur: Thats the one with Doug Jones. But in the seventies there ...

Had Tyson a fight in prison?
You may know the film "Undisputed". Its about a HW-Champion, who goes to prison for rape and its inspired by Tyson. In the movie the boxing champ has a fight with the prison-champion. Is this related to Tyson too or is this part just fiction?
