Re: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano III | NETFLIX - 11 July 2025

Serrano should have won both fights. I hope she doesn't get robbed again, but she may win by knockout.

Tony Bellew does not agree with the proposed boxing league having its own belt and excluding belts from the sanctioning bodies. Dana White will be teaming up with Turki Alalshikh to form a new boxing league.

ffs, the great man died and you keep rambling on about the lawsuit and now switch to the covid vaccine , jeezus, some tribute you are giving him  ya so unusual for 76 year olds to die, what other causes of death should we speculate on to celebrate his passing. maybe the illuminati poisoned him...

Did she lose the first fight Cus of the whole paint stuff
The first fight was very close. I think the paint incident affected her. They are both very good and arguably top 20 pound for pound. I predict that the rematch will also be close.

Re: Rest in Peace - George Foreman

Yeah I honestly don't think a Lawsuit for a crime you definitely didn't commit is gonna scare you much when you're rich as hell, and have Great Lawyers. Hell you can get away with crimes you DID commit when you're rich as hell with a great lawyer. Was this even still being litigated at all? It had ...

Re: Rest in Peace - George Foreman

I'm just stating information that was in the newspaper. The lawsuits against Foreman were still in litigation, so there was no resolution yet. He had denied the allegations and alleged that the women were attempting to extort him. Roy Foreman who is George's brother said that the cause of his death ...

RIP. How many left from his era with Ali? Out of the cream of the crop, just Larry Holmes, but even he just missed out on the holy trinity era of Ali, Frazier and Foreman. Out of the second tier guys, George Chuvalo is still going at 87! He was pretty unbreakable in the ring and getting to 87 after...

Re: Rest in Peace - George Foreman

I think the lawsuit against him by women who alleged sexual abuse in the 1970s must have caused a lot of stress and probably affected his health. The family statement stated that he worked tirelessly to protect the family name. Foreman denied the allegations and considered them defamatory. I don’t ...

Lukas attempted to bite one of her previous opponents which was Debora Anahi Lopez. That was for the vacant IBO super flyweight title. The referee never deducted a point from Lukas even though she pushed down on the back of Lopez's head more than 20 times and attempted to bite her. I guess Lukas was...

Greg Haugen dies at 64

Greg Haugen died of renal cancer. Maybe he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame since Vinny Pazienza got in and Haugen beat him once, but he lost twice to Vinny. Seriously though, I used to watch him and he always gave a great effort. Rest in Peace

If it is 12 three-minute rounds, then Serrano wins by stoppage and the judges can't rob her.

Re: Why do People on forums/comments constantly claim the Heavyweight division is weak?

When comparing the division to the 1990s, it is weaker. There was more depth of talent. People used to say the division was weak during the reign of the Klitschko brothers. Ruslan Chagaev and Samuel Peter were among the best and Wladimir beat them both. The Klitschkos would not fight each other, so ...

The ibhof requires multiple fighters to be inducted every year which has now made it a watered down joke They only inducted three male boxers from the modern era. Re: Michael Nunn - ibhof thoughts

I'm surprised that they inducted three male and three female boxers (the same amount) for the modern era. I don't recall them ever doing that. I think Nunn is deserving and of course Pacquiao. I think there are other boxers more deserving than Vinny Paz such as Marlon Starling and Israel Vazquez.

Re: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano II | NETFLIX - 15 November 2024

Why did Canelo win in his first two fights against Golovkin? Why did Katie Taylor win in her two fights against Amanda Serrano? The answer is the same and it is not because Canelo was better than Golovkin or Taylor was better than Serrano.

It appears Oscar sold Ring to Turki which means Turki now has his own Title and rankings. The 4 sanctioning bodies better start getting their act together or they could be playing second fiddle to the Ring belt and rankings. What do you guys think will come of this? Re: Will Anthony Joshua be voted into the IBHOF?

He will be inducted. He has a win over Wladimir Klitschko and I know Wladimir was past his prime. He has two losses by decision to Usyk, but the second fight was closer and he lost by split decision. Of course, Usyk and Tyson Fury will be inducted. I don't think Deontay Wilder will be inducted.

Re: why is boxrec.com listing the jake paul vs mike tyson fight ?

I mean honestly losing a decision to Jake Paul at 58 isn't as embarrassing a loss to go out on as the Kevin McBride one was, and it damn sure paid better. I'm not saying Jake Paul is better than McBride, but at least Mike didn't quit on his stool this time. He saw it through to the end. Jake Paul a...

Re: Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson | Netflix - November 15, 2024

If Jake Paul wants to keep boxing side show matches so be it but the dude needs to stop saying he will be World Champ in boxing. He weighed nearly 230 so if he's serious about being World Champion his options are Dubois or the Usyk-Fury winner and after watching him the other night he has no chance...

Does it really matter? Does that 1 more loss on Mike's record bring his historical standing down any? If it does...that's actually good. He's somebody that's been put on a pedestal that he didn't belong on for far too long honestly, but I don't think this hurts the way people see him any. The only ...
