Re: Naoya Inoue vs. Paul Butler | Undisputed - 13 December 2022

The more I think about this fight, the more I think its one of the biggest mismatches that a british fighter has been involved in regarding world titles. I dont blame Butler wanting a pay day but for Butler to pull this off it will be the greatest achievement from a British fighter fighting overseas...

Re: DAZN policy on PPV

Boxing is f*cked, full of greedy ****s.

But those of us who refuse to pay for the PPVs are in the extreme minority so the likes of Eddie doesn’t give a **** about us, as we dont affect his bank balance

Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Deontay Wilder

As much as I admire Usyk … Wilder is a very dangerous fight to take.

I see Usyk having to comeback from a knockdown to win the fight.

Re: Troy Williamson vs. Josh Kelly - Terms Agreed

The more I think about this fight the more I think its going to be a thoroughly entertaining domestic clash.

Somehow Troy has to withstand the typical Kelly fast start and then drag him into a war.

I think Kelly is a slight favourite but would love Troy to upset the odds

I have not changed my mind since the fight was made, I really want GGG to win but in my view he is on the slide.

I see “The Cheating Mexican” winning clearly possibly by late stoppage

Re: Does Rob Smith need to resign from BBBC?

Boxing has benefited with regards to its popularity to the various forms of social media outlets. But as soon as boxing is shown in a bad light and there is “kick off” for example fans giving their opinions on poor judging, Robert Smith is in my view very dismissive. Time and time again Smith has be...

Re: Does Rob Smith need to resign from BBBC?

Robert smith can only do and say what the stewards of the board allow him to do so in my opinion a lot of the criticisms of him are unjustified and unfair As am ex member of the board you are bound to say that. He is one of an increasing number of people who feels ONLY those that have boxed are ent...

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022

It's just so pathetic and typical of Eubank senior who is tying to cling onto a small spike of relevance. The fight is a daft catchweight contest between two OK level fighters who are different body builds and obviously fight a stone apart because of that. Reckon the fight will still happen but amb...

Re: David Haye

Usyk is increasingly gaining popularity because of how he conducts himself inside, and importantly for a heavyweight champion, outside of the ring. Absolutely spot on. He’s allowed his boxing skills to do his talking. For whatever reason “controversy sells” Tyson is good enough to be the same but s...

Frazer Clarke

Clearly the opponent wasnt up to much and in Addition the weight difference was a disgrace. The promoter should of told the matchmaker to “f*ck off” when the fight was made. The BBBofC should of told the promoter to “f*ck off” when the fight was made. Adam Smith at Sky should of told the promoter th...

Re: David Haye

I admit that I was totally biased- whenn the Fury fight was first made I was totally convinced David would win.

But someway into the training camp and in my view not enough rounds sparred if David did not spark Fury early Fury would win fairly early.

Re: David Haye

Whoever wrote about Haye’s body being broken was totally correct. Team Bellew knew very well that Haye would not be able to go through a training camp. Remember Dave Coldwell, Bellews trainer was part of team Haye for years. In the training camps I was with Haye I lost count the amount of sparring w...
