Re: Any Real Need For This From Freddie Roach??
that doesnt help promote the fight..he is extremely concerned and wants to get in algieri's head..provo destroyed the kid from Denver, That guy is same level as Brandon Rios. Algieri clearly had his way after the 1st round with Provo. To say they are on different levels is comical. Algieri would win...

Re: Curtis Stevens Interview on N’Dam: “How much running can he
He wants Golovkin again? I hope he realizes he isn't getting the same money again for another beat down. I must admit he has balls though. he got beat down, but it was golovkins toughest fight to date which doesnt say much. Any improvement whatsoever from stevens would make a rematch very interesti...

why is Schaefer sleezy? He ran the business and saved it when DE la hoya was dressing like a fad and doing drugs for days..my father worked with schaefer at UBS for years and although he knew nothing about boxing, he is a good guy

Re: Is Algieri better than Broner? He beat Taylor more easily
he would win very easily..I liken him to Paulie Malignaggi, but algieri is taller, longer reach and hits a little harder. Saw the activity and movement give broner problems.Algieriwould clearly win 10 rounds

Re: Quillan not willing to fight Korobov?
Rumour has it that Quilling may forfeit his title and fight Danny Jacobs (also managed by Al Haymon). he will not fight Danny Jacobs...Danny used to beat him very handily in sparring about 4 years ago..doubt Quillen improved that much..that is the reason Jacobs is obsessed with Quillen..easy payday...

Re: Quillan not willing to fight Korobov?
Korobov was 22 and jacobs 18..include the fact that amateurs in europe have much more experience and get more fights than American amateurs do, Jacobs did well..the scoring was bullshit. Korobov is a good fighter..a lot better than Quillen technically and all around

Re: Quillan not willing to fight Korobov?
I'd favor Quillin and I think there's a good chance he stops Jacobs, whom I believe is chinny (a shortcoming that's less significant in sparring). Yes, he is. Korobov dropped him in amateurs. he wasnt even hurt and it was a clean left hand right on the chin that jacobs walked into...the guy is a ha...

Re: Golovking vs. Rubio, Winner fights Cotto
Even if Saul is unavailable, Cotto will not fight GGG at 160. They may start pushing for 154.5 catch weight or something like that. There isn't a whole lot going on @ 160 so idk that thats necessarily true, but Miguel is one of the biggest draws in the game so he can dictate terms & as a smalle...

I think Dirrels shorter more compact shots will knock Bika out..he needed the first fight to get used to the stage..I see this ending decisively..

Al Haymon is the New Don King, he will continue to match his fighters in easy fights.. Ok. Crappy card tonight. its pretty easy to see the type of fighter Kovalev..typical russian fighter with high workrate, good timing and measure the opponent..great ring generalship..however, he brings exceptional power. I bet on chavez but he is at fault..holding and making faces the entire fight..the takedown I thought would end the bout..he is a headcase in the ring and I dont expect to see him much more in america.
