Re: Kenny Egan SPOILER
You English & other westerners just don't realize that many of the Chinese judges are well versed in the art of Invisible Fist Gung Fu. You see, Chinese boxers are trained so well that only a true master can see their punches land, and the punches cause devestating injury, only several years lat...

Re: Check David Haye out!! 235lbs!!
He looks impressively fit, I think he fights impressively too, but he needs to do more than flex his muscles and beat his gums. Why doesn't he fight Sultan Ibragimov and see if he can KO Sultan? That's something Klitschko could not do. Haye called Sultan a bum so he ought to underscore his assertion...

Re: Check David Haye out!! 235lbs!!
I remember Gil Clancy saying that old time trainers used to say a fighter with the washboard abs couldn't take a bodyshot as well as a fighter who had a layer of subcutaneous fat over his abdominal muscles. Which kind of makes sense if you've ever seen anybody go down from a liver punch. Having a sc...

Re: The class of 2008, how will they do as pros??
Kind of tough to say. A lot of promoters spent money on some total busts but then again a lot of quality champs have been good Olympians. I think the tell-tale signs that a fighter will make it as a professional champion as well as an Olympic champion is if during major tournaments; he shows devesta...

Re: Tor Hamer???
Seems like with his MMA-Boxing experiences, his education and political philosphy he had to be one hell of a cross_trainer.

Tor Hamer???
Anybody know much about him? I have a feeling he used to post on another website's message board quite frequently over a year ago. He seemed like a really good guy if it is whom I think it is.

Re: david price......on in half an hour
The Italian will pay a hard price in his next fight. Price has displayed some cracking punching power thus far.

I wonder how many in USA Boxing are wishing they would have chosen "the other coach" now.

Re: Next fight
I plan on fighting in Febuary, as the Platov fight is a no go. My Febuary fight will be in New Zealand, and should be on television. I plan on staying busy this year, because if I'm not ready for a fight with one of the big boys by the end of 2006, I'm going to retire. I'm will only be 23 and have ...

Different states, countries etc. have different rules. The U.S.A. has enacted legislation, The Muhamad Ali Boxing Reform Act, to make the various rules somewhat standard and consistent but used to you'd have to go before a state commission panel or board and they'd assess your physical health and li...

I believe Povetkin took gold in 12 out of 13 major international tournaments and the one he didn't take gold in, he took silver missing gold by a single point. Plus, as you already know, he has Olympic gold too. Furthermore, Povetkin was a world kickboxing champion on top of all that. I figure Povet...

Romanchuk is making a serious charge at the super heavyweight championship. I heard Romanchuk has two prior victories over Solis. The championship fight between these two shall be very interesting. Romanchuk seems to be hungry and is said to be one of the hardest punchers in the tournament but a bru...

Povetkin?
Does anybody know this young Russian superheavyweight's record? He seems to be putting together a string of impressive international tournament performances winning first place in many of them.
