Re: GOLOVKIN CLEARLY PAST HIS PEAK...
From the outset you could see that Golovkin was more reserved than usual, he wasn't prepared to take any risks against DJ, who looked like a supermiddleweight in comparison to GGG. This may have had somthing to do with having one eye on the Canelo fight. Golovkin did what he had to do and nicked the...

Re: Boxing Memorobilia
You can avoid the fakes you just need to know where to look. If your buying autographs make sure the company your buying from are an approved dealer with the AFTAL. (Autograph Fair Trade Association Limited). They work with the police and trading standards and all of the approved dealers are vetted....

Re: Rocky Fielding v Callum Smith
They both seem to want the fight so dont see why it wont happen. Strike whilst the iron is hot i say, its not the end world if one loses to the other, they would still have plenty of time to achieve their goals. The fight would be massive, and the more fights that are made like this in Britain, the ...

Would Mayweathers style be as effective in the Heavyweight Division?
Just read Mayweather being a bit disrespectful to Muhammad Ali's achievements. My question is would Mayweathers Style be as effecrive if he operated in the heavyweight division. How would his shoulder roll fair against a Tyson in his prime for example, or even an Imposing Klitchko with his 80 inch r...

Re: Does Lee Selby beat Walters?
Walters would beat Selby with his jab, which was more impressive than his power in my opinion.

Re: Whats the opinion on Joshua last night?
He is without doubt improving with each fight; his speed, accuracy and his jab are very impressive; he is becoming less robotic, and is gaining confidence each time I see him. The only question mark for me is his natural power; he has not really flattened an opponent yet or rendered anyone unconscio...

Re: The gloves are off the Super-middle weights
I would choose similar but maybe with Kenny Anderson, Brian Mcgee or Paul Smith instead of Calzaghe to make them all current.bigB wrote:Carl Froch
James DeGale

Re: The gloves are off the Super-middle weights
Yes but they were all retired, would be interesting to see one with current fighters like they did with the middleweights recently.columbo wrote:Hasnt this already happened?! It was Calzaghe, Collins, Eubank and Woodhall if memory serves me right.

Re: Bellew vs Stevenson
I think Bellew is going to use his height advantage to frustrate Stevenson, and score points on the inside, and I wouldnt be suprised if Tony picks himself up from the canvas early on and goes on to win on points. He may have the judges cards to beat though.......

Re: Anyone notice Barker getting smashed by Froch in sparring
It was a programme of Froch's build up to the fight. Of course they were going to show the parts of the spar that make him look on top. It could well be that froch smashed barker in the sparring session but if Barker had the better of it I'm sure it would of been edited out for the programme. Exact...

Re: What would have been the outcome if the fight was't stopped?
Froch looked like he was tiring himself at that point and i honestly do not think he would have finished the fight as strongly as he normally does. He took a lot of punishment and was made to work from the first bell. I think Groves sometimes looks a bit wreckless when he is under pressure, which ma...
