If they fought during the Bowe/Holyfield years, Bowe would obliterate him.

Re: Welterweights : Oscar De La Hoya vs. Vernon Forrest
Tough fight. Both great boxers and counterpunchers, both quick and accurate, both have good chins. Vernon had a reach advantage, and it could come into play. I could see both going down, I don't see either getting KO'd, but a TKO for either is possible. I think De La Heya would have to be aggressive...

Oh, I just meant, based on your statement, that Meldrick wouldn't have made it out of the second round of that first fight.

Re: Heavyweights : Lennox Lewis vs. Larry Holmes
In 21 title defenses, Larry Holmes went 20-1 with 15 KOs. Hardly a light puncher.
I'd go with Larry, kate rounds TKO or Decision.

James Toney beats Marvin Hagler at an eating contest.
I think the biggest difference between these two men is, Marvin Hagler will never go to bed at night wondering "what if I had only done more?"

Re: Super Featherweights : Alexis Arguello vs . Floyd Mayweather jr
Anyone who denies that Floyd Mayweather's record is filled with a very high caliber of opponents, for an extreme length of time... Is clearly delusional. Whether you like him or hate him, he clearly has one of the all time best list of who's who in his record, and never lost one of them. Even fighte...

Re: Featherweights : Naseem Hamed vs. Danny Lopez
A past his prime Kelly Kelly dropped him multiple times. Never understood what the fuss was about this guy. He had a good punch and was a hot dog. Not much more than that. It's really sad Hamed got away with that illegal shot against Kelley. It totally changed the outcome of the fight. Kelley had s...

Re: Brain anneurism
If he loves boxing, and doesn't want to leave the sport... Why not become a trainer? Honestly, the fact that he was (assumingly) a good amateur about to turn pro but couldn't because of a brain aneurysm would probably help his "cred," over others who just sucked at the pros and decided to ...
