Re: Danny Green the best thing in Aussie Boxing Since Kostya

Danny Green was speedy back in his day.
But damn, you Aussies are overlooking the NEXT best thing in Australian boxing.
Being from New Zealand I don't usually acknowledge Australian talent
But that Aussie bloke Jeff Horn's looking good in the boxing ring so far.

Re: Rabchenko Vs Mundine

Doesn't Anthony Mundine have a walking stick now? :D

Nah, but on the real, I personally think Anthony Mundine's lost it.
As entertaining as he was and is, he just doesn't throw down like
he use to.

Sorry Mundine, but Rabchenko will win by TKO in the 6/7 round.

Re: Lucas 'big daddy' Browne....nice guy?

:witzend: It's like every damn Aussie is stuck up on Browne like he's a quality fighter. I personally think the guy's too over-rated. I don't know why some boxing enthusiasts even consider him entertaining? He's slow and out of fitness, clearly wide open for counters, has sloppy footwork, and his &q...

Re: Lucas 'big daddy' Browne....nice guy?

Deep down he knows the wbf dont make him a real champ or why would he be aiming for a date with the kbros or even trying to move up the ranks if he was already a world champion. WBF dont make no money cause it aint the real ,no knocks at the door ,no top contenders wanting to fight for it, I find t...

Re: shane cameron v kali meehan

As much as I'd wanna see Shane Cameron win and carry on where he left on in his boxing career - it's highly likely that Kali would win either as UD or TKO in the mid term rounds. Cameron's got better fitness than Kali does, and that's Cameron's biggest advantage at the moment. If Cameron can weather...

So true Big Daddy has his flaws but you tell me a fighter that doesn't. Every fighter has their flaws - but the topic of discussion is about Parker v Browne. Not about assclowns or idiots and women etc. It's not my fault if you don't know how to accept real personal feedback. I've yet to read somet...

Re: shane cameron v kali meehan

I'm backing Shane Cameron.
He's the only promising boxer in this situation.
Kali's 44yo so he's basically on the verge of retiring.
Where as Cameron's only 36 and has more to offer
boxing than Kali does now days.

I calling it...
Cameron by TKO/KO round 10.

Re: Joseph Parker vs. Lucas Browne

Browne's got some power behind his punches but damn he's got technique at all. Heck he's not even up to Alex Leapai's level yet  If Browne actually got a title shot with Wlad then I call dibs that he wouldn't last as long as Leapai did for real. Browne's not a quality fighter and he's over hyp...

Vaitele Soi

I've watched some of his fights, and they're not too bad. He seems to be a brawler/boxer with some potential to make a name for himself. He's been in the boxing scene for a while and personally think if he had the right training/coaching then he'd definitely become a big threat. Some clips showing h...

Re: Lepikhin TKO Berridge

Lepikhin was way too good for Berridge.
Butcher kind've gave the impression that his arsenal is limited
with only basic jabs and hooks under his sleeve, nothing of any
threat to Lepikhin.

I see big things for Lepikhin.

Tyson = Too much talk, not enough fights.
Over rated with a sloppy boxing style but just good enough
to win a world title in regards to how still very young he is.

Re: leapei vs sam peter october 24th

Leapai would have Peter for dinner.
Sam's past his prime and hasn't fought since 2011.
Leapai is still active and should win this fight moderately.

Would love to see Leapai v Browne though.

Re: Upcoming boxing shows in NZ

You've explained to me you can't put shows up on boxrec schedule without the proper verification and I except that but the NZ section always looks a bit bare even though there are plenty of upcoming events. So here's a sort of unofficial thread for upcoming shows for anyone who's interested. Team G...

Re: Robert Berridge

Berridge is a bit over rated in my opinion, hes boxing skills are limited at best and foot work is horrible. He's a puncher with a big engine and as he's proven that carrys you a fair way in this sport. However his chin is suspect as he's been floored often enough and against the next level of oppo...

Re: Browne/Parker

Parker's too active for Browne. Browne's technique is awful, I don't know how this guy's even rated? Even if Browne did get a title shot with Wlad, I'm betting that it's going to be another replay of what happened to Leapai. But in Browne's case he'll get dropped quicker. Parker would win, either by...
