Benn's head was always in the right position for Calzaghe to release his punches onto. Unless Calzaghe went into 'swinger' mode, I don't see Benn in the fight too much tbh. But if they swung it out, I'd tip Benn to land big and get the better of it, in an intense short slugfest! That would be somet...

Beating McLellan after the initial beating he took, in my view is still the best ever performance from a British boxer, better than Honeyghan beating a clearly off form Curry, McLellan was on his game that night and Benn beat him, better than Hatton beating a marginally faded Tyszu. Benn took on the...

Yep, Steve Collins was a champion alright. He beat Eubank and Benn twice each. Benn was past his best, but Collins was a tough son of a gun, never stopped, and I reckon he would have taken any version of Benn. I think a peak Benn, Eubank or Calzaghe all beat Collins - a peak Benn and Calzaghe would...

All depends on how you classify this. If it is best in era, most dominant etc then Louis, Marciano, Ali, Holmes etc all come above Lewis, however if talking who would win in a prime fight then no way a cruiserweight Marciano lasts 3 rounds with Lewis. Personally I think only a prime Ali, Foreman, Ho...

I'll ask again. How can it be a knockout when only 10 fighters are competing? A Nobody knows yet. Some people suspect it points to a plot twist. Have to wait and see. Didn't they reveal the format was something like even one fighter would get voted out for a poor performance even if it's winning???...

Best person you've sparred with
Pretty confident that I've fought at a level well below many on here, be interested to hear who the best person is you've been in the ring with. For me as a steady ex amateur, I've done a few rounds with an ex pro light middle Jon Hilton and come off far worse and years before an ex European light w...

Anyone seen this Manchester middleweight fight? 8 wins from 10 fights at the age of 19 and an impressive win over Cendo Rella would suggest he's pretty useful.

hmm good luck to him but is this is a career really meriting national coverage yet? Outrageous puff piece as far as I can see based solely on his name - I take it this was not a boxing journalist. The gullibility of most journalists when it comes to boxing is a thing of wonder. Proberbly right just...
