Re: Josh Taylor:Portrait of a Fighter

Wasn't too bad. Hopefully back in the ring by end of the year with a new motivation. The way I took it is he has reached the top of his game and motivation is an issue. He spoke of fear of losing which was strange.

Re: Artur Beterbiev vs. Joe Smith Jr. | Sky Sports - 18 June 2022

What's the ring walk time around 4? Will set alarm for half 3 but sometimes New York is 3? The main card is starting at 10 pm NY time. We have a 10 rounder which will likely go the distance. Then the main event. 10pm ET is 3am UK, however Sky Sports will begin broadcast at 2am. Maybe show one of th...

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022

Do you think Whyte would have won an Olympic medal? I wouldn't have him winning the ABA's. I don’t think that’s hugely relevant, given that their respective amateur careers are a very long time ago now. I just think fighters do reach their expiry date, and Fury is likely approaching his. maybe that...

Re: John Riel Casimero vs. Paul Butler | Eurosports - 22 April 2022

The fight’s off. Casimero has been busted using a sauna to lose to weight so the BBBC won’t sanction him to fight over here. Assume that’ll mean he’ll be stripped. Wonder if they’ll try and get a replacement for the world belt. You not allowed to use a Sauna? How else you supposed to lose weight. :...

Re: Round-by-Round: Conor Benn vs. Chris van Heerden - 16 April 2022

Does anyone else think Benn looks a small welter? I’m not saying he can make 140lbs as he looks great on the scales always but van Heerden come in 1 1/2lb under the limit and looked bigger. That might eventually be Benn’s undoing. Coming up against a huge welter who will rehydrate to a super middle...

ava's team needs to get over their benn obsession. there is nothing gluing them or benn to each other Yep - there’s nothing stopping them from making better fights. Would I rather see Benn vs Avanesyan than Van Heerden? Of course but Team Ava need to get over it and make some competitive fights. Li...

Give it 10 years and Benn may accept the fight. It's a joke honestly. Too busy kidding himself on fighting past it tomato cans. Re: Round-by-Round: Michael Conlan vs. Leigh Wood - 12 March 2022

Great fight and an incredible finish. Ruthless and conclusive. Credit to both lads. I’d love a rematch. I can see Conlan winning that wide. Let's face it, Wood was only winning the first 2 minutes of round 1, and the last minute of round 12. At no other point in the fight was he ahead. It's only a ...
